I had an absolutely wonderful experience bringing in five feral cats that I "trap trained" and successfully caught all at once. That was an expensive proposition because I had to buy five Tomahawk feral cat traps, plus Tomahawk's Drop Trap and Transport cage in the even I had any trap shy escapees. Getting training was easy. I got trained by Community Cats online which cost $10 and which educated me so well for this, that my often rehearsed choreography went without a hitch. I brought the cats in, first 3 on one day and 2 on the next, to the Patchogue Roe Blvd location. All the animals were returned the same day the surgeries were performed, hours after I had brought them in. They were spayed or neutered and given a Rabies shot and were "ear tipped" as required by law. The ear tipping was done so tastefully that it was visible, but does not detract from the animal's appearance. (The Veterinary Technician told me that she did minor ear surgery to improve the appearance of "Dad", the battle scarred tomcat and protector or the clowder.) The animals were very well treated and healed very quickly. I would certainly bring animals to this veterinary facility again and highly recommend them!

Brought my puppy to be spayed on a recommendation because our regular Vet. has not been doing surgery since before COVID due to lack of staff. Great experience. Compassionate care at affordable prices. Thank you Anna, Dr. and staff. Daisy is doing great!

This office is wonderful! My dog received two TPLO surgeries through them. They are kind, understanding, and your dog will be in good hands. I would refer anyone to bring their baby there!

Long Island Animal Surgery saved my dogs life. My vet ( who is consistently good ) had given a bad prognosis on removing a tumor. I looked for a second opinion and long story short, the professionals at Long Island Animal Surgery saved my dogs life (and leg 😀). All situations are different but if you are looking for a good place to care for your pet this is probably it.

Hi My 8 yr old dog with diabetes needs acl surgery. I was wondering what your rate was?

My rating would be a three and a half stars out of a 4 the place is okay and the doctors are okay the ladies in the front are very nice but if you do not have a lot of money make sure you let them know and if you have money make sure you do not tell them

I have a 16 week old kitten that was abandoned. I would like to get her ready for adoption. What is the cost for spay, shots and any other needs ? She is healthy and housebroken.

Try Save-a-pet clinic in Port Jefferson station is affordable and caters to feral or abandon cat owners. Long Island Spay and Neuter vet in Medford is very good and affordable. Also check out the mobile clinics that are on Petco and Tractor Supply stores. They are good and affordable and do not need appointments. All three display their fees and prices online.
