We found this campground 4 years ago and had fallen in love with it. It was quiet and peaceful and just had a great vibe about it. It was sold last year but we decided to camp again this year as it is only fair to give it a chance. I am sad to say this was the worst time we have ever had there. The changes made were not for the better. There were 30 sites added that have generators running all day. Golf carts are now allowed which was awful. The friday morning we were there a guy drove by 12 times in 30 mins!!!! They are also putting in a dog park, which is fine I have nothing against dogs, but now there are more dogs barking all the time because their owners don't control them. We also looked up the new rates, holy cow!!!!! We left 2 days early because we were so disgusted. I am extremely saddened to see what has happened. Highly unlikely that we will ever return. I do want to give credit to the staff. They were very nice.

We loved it! We never knew this campground was there even though we grew up in the area. It was so much fun with so many fun things to do on the property plus it was fun fest weekend so our kids got to enjoy a movie on a huge projector screen with free popcorn, hayride with squirt guns, games and fun while making friends with other kids. We already reserved a cabin for next month!

Great kind-of-wilderness campground. It has a pool, arcade, playground, and plenty of sites. The previous owner of this place used to host events, including movies on Saturday nights. However, ownership of the campground has now changed.

Our site was fairly private. Some were more open than others. The campground is super dog friendly. We had ours with us for their first ever camping trip. Lots of other campers had theirs. Lots of stations for disposal and always had extra bags at each station. This place was great for dogs and families!
Don't know. Probly not I think its for campers only u could call them
Next weekend
www.balsamwoods.com/rates - this has all our rates for RV, tent sites, and cabins.
86 out of our 87 sites have electric hookup at the site. The only site that does not have electric is site 0-3
No golf carts, atvs or utvs are allowed to go to the campsites. There is a public parking area for atv withvdirecct access to the trail system.
