Donald MacDonald is a lovely campground with abundant plants, trees and greenery. The campsites are bordered and separated by trees and bushes, which provides a feeling of privacy. It has a way-off-the-grid feeling, like wilderness camping. In spite of the rustic feel, the closest restaurant is the Zoo Bar, only two minutes away by car and there's a shopping center with restaurants and a Publix five minutes away. Amenities include modern restroom facilities with showers and each camp site has a fire pit. There is also a boat launch and a dump station.

In 2022 they have 5 sites with water and electric. They also have a dump station.
The top 4 sites will fit Class A bus. 2 very large sites esp at the end. I also backed into 4 different primitive sites here. Splitter on the shared water using my 100' hose. Dump station right there. Primitives are fine if its not middle of summer. No generators tho
Pets are welcome. And there isnt a y extra fees that i am aware of. You just pay for the site
When I was there it was 20$ a night with a two week limit..... very nice sites with lots to choose from...!!!
Great 🚿 showers.... good water pressure... plenty of hot water.... just a TIP : if you take your sandals off before entering the bathhouse shower you will not leave any footprints in the shower stall... nice and clean for the next person...!!!.
Im pretty sure its maintained by the county so im guessing no, but there is an office right at the entrance that im sure can you a definitive answer.
Yes, ramp and parking for about a half of dozen vehicles.
