Oh my goodness! Authentic Ethiopian deliciousness. The tastes were amazing, the owner as friendly as they come. As is traditional, no silverware. Highly recommend the combo plate to get a real feel for the different tastes and textures.

The Lamb in a Medium Spiced Barbecue Sauce was Delicious! The Beef Tips in a Hot Sauce was also delicious!

Closed early with no explanation. The man inside wouldn’t even come to the door. We came all the way from Tennessee specifically for this restaurant. I remembered the food being wonderful and the service being good too, but this has changed our minds. We’re so disappointed. Please update your website with correct hours.

My wife and I are regulars at Lalibela and we always order the same delicious dish: the combination platter. This is a delicious mix of vegetables, beans and meat. It is not the kind of dish you eat alone. It’s meant to be shared with friends and family. It is served with a traditional Ethiopian bread and always includes a small amount of injera – the soft, sour pancake that is served with everything. The combination platter is always a good value for money. You get to enjoy a mix of different tastes and textures – and the meal is not as heavy as many other Ethiopian dishes. One of the things that makes this platter so special is the combination of vegetables. They're not all from the same area in Ethiopia, so they each have their own unique flavour.
