I got the assistance I requested and was not disappointed. They explained everything in detail as for the services they provided as well as following throughout my legal procedures. I highly recommend them.

Make sure you have an attorney to give you REAL legal advice and not a paralegal because you will be representing yourself. Paralegals just pile up your file with paperwork so they can get paid for your name and pretend to care so that they can build bonds & network until becoming an attorney.

Shandra Bryant | Oct 2, 2018

If your low income they will work with you for free. They have an application that you can fill out and being in all necessary documentation i.e., pay stubs, award letter from SSA if you recieve it or TANF or whatever your source of income maybe. This helps them determine if you qualify for their free services. Also bring any court papers with you if you have been served with any. I hope this helps

I am not a legal representative but I have been a victim of identity theft. I had to a police report, make all 3 credit bureaus aware of the situation so that they could flag my SSN number, this stopped any new purchases using my SSN number. Then had to pull my credit report, contact each creditor on their and and them a copy of the police report and any documentation from the credit bureaus showing that my identity had been breached. It's a lot of work but the sooner you get started the better. Please note that I am not a lawyer or legal representative. I'm only telling you my story of how I dealt with identity theft.

Hello, Go to Legal Services 5 Commerce Street in Newark, NJ. They mainly work with low income people so you will need to provide proof that you meet the income requirements. If you do then they will help as best as they could to resolve your issue.

What about divorce? I moved back to Jersey from Georgia to get away from my cheating husband. Had to retire early due to health issues. What day should I call or go to the court? Thank You.

HOW? does one get the ESSEX courthouse to answer? (any dept./office) My public defender said: "I don't answer my phone and I don't reply to my voicemail" The clerk of court, the judge's office, no dept. answers, NOR do they return calls (maybe a long distance call to N.C. is not in the budget) I filled a complaint w/ the Ombudsman's office 3 weeks ago and still NO 'reply/response'. I have driven 2 times (round-trip is 1,210 miles) only to find my name is not on the "roster". SUGGESTIONS????

Michael Angelo Bosch | Oct 2, 2018

Why explain case to receptionist with zero knowledge of what you're talking about? Dumb people are rude to hide the fact that they are dumb.
