My son had a 4 day boot camp session planned in advance - and we all made a family trip to NY around that session. Only to find that on the weekend before the classes (scheduled Monday morning 9 am onwards), the class was canceled. We were already in NY - and while the email was sent about 48 hours in advance, was sent on a Saturday, he didn't see it until Sunday. Hotel paid, tickets to and fro bought and we were there. Reason: a) scheduling conflict was said on the email b) on the phone - low enrollment. Saving grace - the lady on the phone when reached desperately on Sunday 1. refunded the money paid and 2. gave one complimentary cooking class for the next day which wasn't great but something I guess. We made the best of it - NY city of course, but we would have canceled the entire trip and saved the hotel / transportation / other costs if we had known much earlier. The associate that answered the phone was polite and apologetic. But I think it is completely irresponsible that you would cancel a scheduled boot camp with so little notice - and because you have insufficient enrollment. How can one plan anything in the future specially from out of town if that is how you manage your customer experience?

I am a dietetics student and some of my cooking classes' instructors come from ICE. They are all so warm, enthusiastic, and incredibly knowledgeable in their field. I decided to come here to take more recreational classes to refine my cooking skills. The experience at ICE was more than anyone can expect - engaging, fun, and lots of hand-on skill building time. In addition, you get to meet new people who shared the same interests as you. Class structure - Classical Italian Desserts 1. Intro - washing hands & putting on aprons; introduction from chef; kitchen orientation; talking through the recipes & steps; breaking into teams, divide and conquer. 2. Mise en place - prepping ingredients 3. Everyone starts cooking, chef and helpers are around for questions and demo. 4. If you are doing pasty/dessert, waiting for products to bake/chill is why your class hours are long. Patience, patience, patience! In the meantime, you can enjoy a glass of wine. 5. Set and enjoy yours or your teammate's finished products. 6. Best part, you can bring your master piece home to share with your friends and family. They have disposables for take out; for eco-friendly advise, bring your own containers. Thank you ICE and absolutely loved it!

After doing the culinary program 10 years ago, I decided to go back to ICE and do the culinary management program. BIG waste of time and money. The instructors do not have the proper training to teach. Just because they have worked in the industry for many years, does not mean they can be teachers. This program was a disappointment to me.

You have to checkout the school admissions requirements and their fees is about $37000 -$38000
No
The online application page can be found here: https://forms.ice.edu/onlineapp/createacct.aspx
It is a real place. Located at 225 liberty
No, all you need is high school diplomat or equivalent
Yes it also serves as a trade school with degrees
Morning class I took was 7:00 -11:00
The are a number of financial aid options. Check out their financial aid page: https://www.ice.edu/newyork/admissions-financial-aid/financial-aid
The professional courses require a High School diploma or a G.E.D. You do not need it for the general public classes.
Depends on your course. Pastry is around $40,000
Yes, for both recreation, and professional settings.
The health and wellness curriculum is vegetarian, but not quite vegan.
3 lakhs
The school has many programs. Contact them for a tour and they will explained everything for you. Good luck.
Yes
Well at ICE you go to the school which is located at 250 liberty ave talk to someone from administration and they will talk about loans and other things and then you can get started. Great thing about that classes is there is no more then 15 people to a class so you get the attention you need .
Yes they do
This is not a university. It is a professional school that awards professional degrees. Because these degrees are not like traditional bachelor's or masters degrees, many of the traditional general education requirements (English, math, sciences, etc.) are not available here. However, because the school is geared at getting students, independently, straight into the workforce, they offer a number of courses related to business. Especially as part of their School of Hospitality & Hotel Management. I would however double check their programs and curriculum pages. They will provide better insight about each training program and the classes offered as part of those programs.
Wrong school. This is ICE. Tuition for the CA degree program is $32,500 - $40,660. The rolling cost depends on the duration of the program.
No
Go to the website and look it up
