One of the most scams in NYC they promise you great things. And plus the chefs on level 5 and 6 they treat you worst then the US army. Plus wen you go in for a job in any top restaurant they don’t care if you have a culinary art certificate from the French culinary institute . They mostly care how many years of experience you have in the profesional Kitchen. You better of going straight to a restaurant start as a prep and learn in there then going into debt of more then 50k$ if you can’t get a good job all of that will start killing you specially your credit score. You better off going to college then spending money in this institute. I’m college you will not go I to that much amount of debt at least farsa and scholarships will cover your college tuition. If you fail a level you have to pay huge amount of money to retake that level. You better learning from YouTube all there culinary techniques. Anyone can cook you just have to put the love into the kitchen and you don’t need this institute in order to cook good food.

I never even even got a chance to finish the semester thank to a spinal injury I took a medical absence and was unfortunately disable and could not return. They where paid over 20 k for a school I never attended and still I'm receiving a debt collector bill 8744.09 and this almost 6 years ago. Money grab

When you RSVP for an open house there is a PDF you can download that tells you everything you might want to know. Cost, class time, what you should expect when you start, the expectations of the school, ect.

They are permanently closed at this located. I am an elevator mechanic for this building, and since the pandemic occurred, they have shut their doors and moved out of this location. I am insure if they have any other locales.
Hi Mary, the International Culinary Center is closing at the end of the year and will no longer be offering programs at the school. We've partnered with the Institute of Culinary Education to continue the ICC legacy. We encourage you to reach out to them about gap year programs for graduating High School students!
ICC is closing, but our legacy will live on at the Institute of Culinary Education. ICE’s career programs are hands-on in NYC and LA, but recreational classes are being offered online. For more info and to speak with an admissions rep, visit https://www.ice.edu/ICCatICE or sign up to receive updates on upcoming virtual classes, Intensive Sommelier Training and more from ICE's recreational department here: https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/ooPU3sH/recreational

Hi Daryl, We do not have a restaurant at the school but occasionally we host ticketed dinners with visiting chefs that are open to the public. The best way to stay posted about events at the school is to join our mailing list or follow us on Facebook (@InternationalCulinaryCenter) or Instagram (@iccedu).
No i dont think so. Just have to be 18 or older and have graduated high school. (Speaking as a current student who graduates from ICC July 8, 2019)

Great school with great instructors! You'll learn a lot and have plenty of opportunities to network.
