Didn't feel safe so we went to stay somewhere else.. Great beach location but not at all WestGate that's for sure.. Front guy was nice but led us to believe the manager would be very happy to have our car towed if the pass wasn't visible at 6am in the morning when he came in..(heaven forbid it fall) Also you have to have metal keys to get in & out after a certain time as no staff would be available & the keys were $40.00 each of you lost one.. Just a really bad experience there & not for a girls trip.. Daytona has lost its sparkle..

We went on Labor Day weekend. The condo building themselves were clean and the staff was amazing, they were constantly cleaning and walking the grounds. Unfortunately I booked through VRBO which was with Vacasa for unit 511. The room was sub par for the amount we paid. $457 for two nights. -The room had no outlets open to charge any electronics -half the blinds were missing on the sliding glass door and there were no curtains. There were broken blinds sitting in the closet and an empty box of where new blinds would go. -the shower curtain was moldy - the room has an adjustable base with the mattress but you can’t use it because the headboard isn’t attached to anything and was falling on us while we slept also when you tried to move the base the headboard would fall onto the bed -there is a public park next door that is open 24/7 with no rules apparently because people were on the beach with a giant speaker blasting music until 11pm both nights so instead of listening to the beach and waves crashing I was listening to their music -first night we were there, no hot water -ac in bedroom area was noisy and didn’t cool at all no matter the temperature -there was one key to access everything from the pool to the beach in and out. You can’t even walk out to the pool without having to open the locked doors with a key. I would expect this for the gate for the beach but not the pool area -limited parking I ended up complaining both nights and finally got a $100 credit 8 days later. Will never return to this property

View was beautiful room was nice but the problem was we could not take a shower for 2 days because of the bath tub plumbing not wanting to drain

We had an ocean front room. It was a fantastic setup. However there done ocean side views, most are ocean front. In my opinion you can't go wrong getting a place to stay there.
No I've stayed on Level 3 level 5 level 8 I love that place if you're having a problem you should go to the front desk I Rave about this place and the rooms but some are owned by different people they're not all owned by the same place so maybe that's where your problem is if there's a problem! But really I love that place I found it a year ago and I've been there three times since. I would say if you have any problems go to the front desk and talk to Corey he is the bomb and he will fix anything for you!

Yes very easy...I do pest control and unfortunately they can.Never had an issue with bugs there during my stay.Roaches also can come in with other custermers as well with their luggage.Hate to hear you having an issue im sure if you say something about it to maby get a different room..
I just got home a week ago from spending a week there and never saw any signs of roaches anywhere.
I've been going there for 20 yrs & never saw a cockroach.
We take all reports of pests seriously. Rest assured we have a pest control company that comes frequently for preventative treatment. You should not run into any issues regarding pests.
