We booked a room last minute for my daughters Lacrosse Tournament and this motel was the only option. Upon entering the room the AC was running about as loud as a lawn mower engine. I turned it off and back on several times and the noise persisted. I also noted the security door lock was not fully intact. I returned to the lobby with the keys and was told no other rooms were available. I asked to please refund for the 2 nights I'd just paid for and the clerk said she could not and her manager would have to approve it in the morning. I asked that she please have her manager call me if there was any issue and offered to email her the video footage I took of the AC unit. Hotels.com said they had tried to reach the motel but had not heard back so I followed up with the motel manager on Tuesday. He said he personally inspected the room and there were no issues and I would be charged for both nights. I told him I would send video footage and he said it didn't matter. He said thanks for calling to "discuss" my issue and he was sorry and proceeded to hang up. I contacted Red Roof Corporate and they said they would investigate and I would receive an email with a case number shortly however within 3 hours I received an email from Michael Smith the GM at Rockford Red Roof thanking me for calling to discuss my concern and that he'd personally inspected the room and everything worked fine so they would not issue any refund.

First, I booked through Expedia and the rooms were supposed to be handicap accessible. I understand that there was a miscommunication between Expedia and the hotel so while it was disappointing that we were on the second floor when we were supposed to be on the 1st what was more disappointing was the manager trying to brush off the issue and then trying to lecture me on how to book a hotel room instead of just trying to be helpful. Then, we finally get booked into rooms on the first floor. My parents and brother went into their room and myself and my bridesmaids went to get our nails done before leaving our stuff in the room thank God because when we came back they had booked our room to somebody else and there were strangers in our room that would not get out. So, we got moved again to a different room. This room was full flies, smelled incredibly musty, and there was mold all over the bathroom. The floor was also so filthy that if you walked barefoot on the floor for just a minute the bottom of your foot was black. I understand that Red roof inn is a discount hotel and absolutely my fault for looking for a bargain but I would recommend you stay far far away from here. It is absolutely disgusting.

The main room door (outside) is flimsy at best and the lock required the desk manager to come out and jiggle the key card to make it work after 2 attempts to reset the card. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable.

Front desk staff was awesome 😎 Super friendly and knew her stuff! Rooms were really clean, and beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!

The last 2 times I stayed there the room had a microwave
that is correct you can get either monthly or weekly plans.....but they do not have breakfast at all there for it can not be free. they dont even sell food other than pop machine
No it doesn't. But the parking lot next to it does. And across the street as well.
