I've been unfortunately like 11 times, but IF YOU NEED A DETOX, AND WANT THE BEST, THIS IS IT! CARING, KIND STAFF, AND GREAT FACILITY!

This is the ONLY place I have ever personally felt was safe enough to come when I truly am vulnerable and also a place I can open up and be completely honest with people without feeling like you are out of place because everyone is going through probably alot in their life honestly and this is really the time and place to let that all out and/or atleast make some attempts in your recovery , whatever that may be. This is a better place than any state run facility you'll ever find and you are just better off walking in on your own.

Here right now. This place is really nice, I love it, they helped me so much. If your detoxing you can just walk in and get help they will detox you on Subutex within 24 hours of entry. But just a few things after I left made me think differently about this place. just make sure they have all prescriptions when you leave, because they messed my important scripts up. And the phone service people are arrogant and nasty, hung up on me for 16 hours. I asked to speak to supervisor and they still haven't gotten a hold of me. So yeah, no coordination or supervision. Very poor "customer" services. Because of this I changed rating from 5 to 4. They helped change my life.. so 4 will suffice. Ok here is the deal, This place is a straight up WALK IN DETOX CENTER AND Behavioral Health. Behavioral health such as suicide possibility gets in first. VERY IMPORTANT: - You can have your phone! 1.) BRING any MEDICINE YOU ARE ON. LET THEM KNOW ABOUT THE Medication, and TAKE your MEDS BEFORE YOU GET IN THE BACK. 2.)If you don't want to wait long, get there early but it's still no guarantee on how long.

Trans Friendly/Military Help For Heroes Program (Sunrise Unit): I had the pleasure of coming here for mental health rehab and I really got to the core of my complex trauma. The program is very well structured and certain assignments are very much needed (such as grief, schemas, after care etc.) Therapy: I learned something new everyday about trauma, coping, habits, triggers and Cheryl is an AMAZING motivation speaker in groups and great on 101. Her charisma is contagious and can make you smile on a bad day. PCAs: The care team did a phenomenal job and making sure my Transgender and sleep apnea needs were met. Eva and Amy go above and beyond to make the environment healthy and welcoming to everyone. The nurses and psychologist check in on you Dailey and got me on the right medications for sleep and nightmares. If I had to recommend military to a Trauma recovery/treatment center I would recommend Copper Springs as the first stop on their journey to healing. -Tonie

You go and stay 5 to 9 days and detox. Insurance should pay for it. It's worth it.
No. It's just like a visit to the hospital. But you stay there from 5 to 9 days while you detox. They give you comfort medicine and make your detox as easy as possible.

You can sign an AMA- Against Medical Advice... but you're on hold FROM EVERYTHING for 24 hours: no food, no cigarette breaks!, etc., including leaving the premises.. They make it a very long process- they're hoping you change your mind before actually leaving..
Their incredible meals are spread out pretty evenly: breakfast at 8, lunch at 11:30, and dinner at 5:30.. but they also stock both fridges in the common areas with sandwiches, puddings, chocolate and regular milk, and chips behind their counter and the fridges are available 24/7.. you're also allowed to buy as much as you want from the vending machines during the eating times 😊 It's a pretty great set-up, they definitely don't let you go hungry!!
