Great 55+ community. Has their own restaurant, club house and nice homes. Pretty area with man made lakes, trees, storks! Lots of beautiful storks. Long beautiful entrance and residents drive their club cars around, bicycle walk and exercise. Everyone waves to each other too. Very friendly place to live!! My Dad lives here too.

We found this place and hoped we would get lucky and find my dad a home here...guess what...we got lucky!!! he will soon call Savannah club home! Many activities to keep him as busy or not busy as he likes, beautiful place, peaceful and friendly atmosphere. He is gonna love it. He hasn't seen it yet, I'm so excited for his new beginning at Savannah club.

Beautiful place and we met some nice folks, but hold onto your wallet. It's almost all lot lease. Between the cost of the lot and the HOA, you'll get hammered. Then add your electric, cable, internet, lawn care, etc. Brace yourself, you'll need some pretty deep pockets.

I was looking into the Savanah Club. They have an HOA over 200 as well as a larger fee for living there which may be over 600. It is a beautiful place to live with many activities. And many group activities. It is well maintained.

I am a resident so I wouldn't have details. I do know there are rentals but do not know the best way to find them. You can try the HOA office and they maybe able to give you some direction.

what is the typical lot rent?

scott brenner | Oct 1, 2021

HOA plus lot rent starts around $800 and goes up from there for corner lots and water property. Plus you pay electric, cable, internet, lawn care, etc. Figure on well over $1000/month. It's a nice place but you'll pay heavily

In addition to purchasing a modular home, do you have to purchase the land also?

Are grandchildren under 8 allowed to use pool when visiting?

Linda Byrne | Oct 2, 2019
John Olin | Oct 2, 2019

When I was there about a month ago, there were children under 8 in the pool. You just need to have your host get a guest pass. They will come check to make sure you have one.

Is this a 55+ community? I need a family community.

CJ N | Oct 2, 2018

It is s 55+community. If you're not 55+, someone in the house must be and you need to be at least 30-35 (can't remember specifically) to live there.
