Good experience . Got here 2 hours earlier than my original appointment time for delivery and got door right away. But their second shift starts at 7 pm . And got unloaded in an hour. Thank you everyone who works here. And they have overnight parking. But going back from here to chicago il is really hard to find load

Sysco in Alachua Florida is the best Distribution Center in the trucking /logistics industry. You can not only check in early (note as much as 24 hours early maybe more) but simultaneously they totally check you into their computer system. There is no returning to the gate and security to check in at your appointment time. Once in their system you go to a very nice paved staging area and they call you either a little before or a little after your appointment depending on staffing and unloading if trucks for that day. These people don't talk safety they walk safety. There is no need here to be penalized for arriving early. They don't force you to leave and have to return on PC to meet your appointment (which is illegal). A general wherehouse I understand may not have a staging area but any other DC that has drivers who they employ needs to learn from Sysco who in my opinion is the leader in the freight/logistics industry. Totally professional, in compliance and safety conscious. These folk care about the drivers. Thank you Sysco Alachua.

Great place, arrived 0515 for 0600 app. 9/6/22. 1/4 mile passed employee entrance pulled right to guard gate (theres overnight parking on the right) she comes out to rail gets paperwork comes back out asked if I have a vest and plz put it on for me we have a door for you. 5 min comes back out gives me signed bills and tells me to follow rd to my door, open wait for red then green and you'll be done. You follow road for 3/8 of mile to the warehouse, super wide and easy parking, started unloading 0610 done 0630 you only deal with the really nice security lady, leave 1 door open and your on your way. Only problem is next place go to and get treated like garbage you'll think of this place and be more p___Ed knowing they could do the right thing but choose not to
