This location and current staff is a complete blessing. May be a blessing in disguise but definitely a blessing! If you are ready for a life change and need a place to build a foundation, this is it! The brotherhood that comes along with it, is absolutely amazing. They show tough love and for most that enter the program need that, thank you for all you have done and are doing!

The new house Manager TJ fair man, his staff (needs improvement), The people and Staff 100% cares about recovery. (Yours and theirs) on the way to schedule job interview TLC staff says to me" you should not go to that location. I ask why? He replied will for starts if they hire you, how are you going to get their ? The 2nd staff commented TLC will not be given you a bus pass. ( Discouraging perhaps he should be open and honest about that vs. asking me my personal plans. I never asked for one, I assumed they would not give me a bus pass base on how they treated another person yesterday. (I already have a bus pass.) I replied I can find a way. The Staff here is very discouraging. I could call St. Vincent Paul and ask for a 30 day pass. The 3rd staff guy said not today you won't. (Discouraging me?) ( I already spoke with St. Vincent staff and she is on Broadway today.) I hate being discouraged, I don't like to be told "You Can't" they don't know the resources and all they want you to do is work for there Temporary labor company. They don't want you to find a real job, they only want to use you for there Temporary Labor Company cheap Volunteer Labor in exchange for rent $125 per week rent. And a twenty dollar store credit. So you work 30-40 hours per week times 4 weeks equals 160 hours per month for $520 per month. This is modern day slave Labor. If you looking to be lazy-this is the right place. Qualifed staff social worker etc. Knows not to be discouraging, nor negative. Staff : Don't tell someone what they can't do, but tell them what you can or can not do within reason to help. Staff should set real expectations and not discourage people with negative obstacle. I can't believe this happened. After all I am paying program fees.This place could use a Good size donation. The labor company works for some people that needs a slow start. It helps!
