Desert Grove Family Medical is the best. The doctors listen to your problems and you get answers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Richard Dinsdale has been our primary care doctor for eight years. We have been in good hands.

My doctor (Swain) has been fantastic; attentive, concerned, takes his time, and he has helped me improve my health. I have seen several other doctors in this location, and each have been excellent.

Update: They have charged me for a service I have not received and for 3 weeks cannot get hold of a the manager. Called 5 times and left messages 5 times and nothing. THIS IS BY FAR THE WROST SERVICE IN ANY INDUSTRY I HAVE EVER SEEN. THIS IS REALLY BAD AND I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THE OWNER OF THIS CLINIC IS OKAY WITH THIS. 2 STAR REVIEWS SHOULD SHOW YOU WHAT A TERRIBLE PRACTICE THIS IS. EVERYONE- STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE. DEALING WITH MVD IS WAY EASIER THAN THIS AND THAT SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING. I never really write reviews, but this time I have to. I went to get a primary care doctor. I saw the doctor and perhaps he found solutions. He said he will get me referrals to specialists but that never happened. Called the office twice, and both times said it has not been processed. Called a 3rd time and they told me I didnt pick the specialists. If I wanted to pick a specialist, I would not go to a primary care first. All the reviews on here are accurate, and I wish I had read them before going. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE!!!!!

The first few times I went here I didn’t really think much of it cause I was a tween being brought here by my mother. It seemed fine until I started receiving the bills in my name a few months ago. Apparently since my parents or their insurance didn’t pay for appointments they made me go to it’s my turn to get harassed by bill collectors. I eventually had to make my own appointments for mental health medications and was prescribed something that helped me really really well. I was going so much better! That is until they decided to refuse to renew it. I had already told the doctor I would be moving right in the middle of when they wanted to do another follow up appointment. He said it would be fine and that I could just call and get it renewed. That was apparently a lie or not properly documented. I tried to renew with the pharmacy several times and they couldn’t get it approved. I called the office and spoke to someone who pretty rudely said I would need to make an appointment even though there were no openings soon enough because like I said, I was moving. They then said they would try to get a temporary renewal that I could pick up until I get a new primary care. This didn’t happen once again. I had been on the medication long enough for my body to get used to it so I started having the weirdest withdrawal symptoms and horrible mood swings. But of course I’m still getting harassed about bills. Even when I explained I just moved and don’t have a job yet. I was then yelled at for “refusal to pay.” Overall this was a horrible experience for me and extremely draining with my already present mental health struggles. I don’t recommend this office or the people who do their billing.

Yep! Most offices are same day scheduling, but a few of them do allow to pre schedule!
