Good clean store with a great selection! Everyone seemed nice, friendly, and helpful. Defiantly recommend checking this place out! They really do earn all the great reviews!

We was told we could DROS a lower however when we got here the employee said no. He just lost another gun sale. I would not recommend this place. Bad miscommunication.

Had a piece of a screwdriver break off in the riser of my red dot site. Brought it to the boys at Last Stand and they got it out after a long and enduring battle. To my surprise they didn't charge me anything which I thought was overly generous. So to show some support I bought $100 in ammo. I'll definitely be going back to support this local shop. Thanks guys!

Great place to get a lot of hard to find things for a great price. An abundance of rifles, pistols, and gear that can serve any defensive/ sporting purpose. …Lol. Thank you Aaron. Much appreciated.

Hey GenX, It sounds like we should have done better. Can you let me know who you may have interacted with, and more importantly maybe provide a time period? This is a no go for me, and I would love an opportunity to rectify the experience or change it for the next person? If you've never actually gone into the store, and only called, I would like to know that also.
Yes, I've purchased a few small parts there for my AR because I live close by. I'm not inclined to go there again as I have not had good experiences with the manager.
Because we are a traditional brick & mortar store, with no on line presence, your best bet is typically to come into the shop. You can call and check availability, but please know that pricing is not given over the phone.
Hi Connie. The best idea is to stop by the store and ask whatever you like-- the guys are there for that purpose and are helpful. In general, in California you need two accurate and valid pieces of identification that show your current address. A California Driver's license and SMUD bill for example. California is most interested in where the weapon will be stored. You will also take an easy Safety test at the time of purchase. The State institutes a 10 day waiting period after purchase for background checks. (Prior felonies and domestic violence crimes are prohibitive items.) See you soon!
Basically, two pieces of valid I.D. with matching addresses and purchaser information. California also institutes a ten day waiting period for background checks.
Depending on preferences with regard to a number of factors, including comfortability, safety mechanisms and even color, we have a number of handguns for you to choose from. California's handgun roster limits what might be available for you to purchase, so your best bet is to take advantage of still having local stores that will walk you thru the process. We are open seven days a week from 10:00 Am, and would love to answer any and all questions you might have.
No Sir, not at this time.
No sir, we do not. I apologize that I don't even have a referral for you.
Always good-- parts are always being sold and restocked.
No sir, we are limited to ammunition for buyers that are picking up purchased weapons. Even that is too expensive for range ammunition. I am personally concerned that the situation may not correct this year.
No sir. Not at this time. I have not yet seen it for sale.
Sorry Victor, I don't even have a solid reference for you. Red Bluff is home to one of the premier gunsmithing schools in the Country, but it seems like everyone leaves Cali to work other places.
For an SBR is California, you will wait forever, maybe even in the penitentiary. It's a no go from the powers that be. 10.5 Uppers and 7" Uppers will result in an SBR. No one will sell you one. You cannot have an SBR is California, at least no thru traditional channels.
Yes sir, full range AR parts & accessories. Weak on full uppers on the moment, but more are arriving this coming week.
Yes sir, we do the FSC test at time of purchase only. Frank is correct, it's not perfect, but every store we know does the same thing. Otherwise, other retailers will start to send people to you only to take the test, but return to them to finish buying a weapon. The test is only a money maker for the State of California, not for the retailer, so other stores are happy to pass on the time investment.
Yes, always in stock! Always a full selection of Mountain House also. Sorry about the delay in answering-- still feeling our way around the many platforms.
