Prepare to spend not only hours but literal days trying to get ahold of someone at this office. Sit on hold forever to have them pick up and literally hang up on you without saying a word. When you do leave a message for your caseworker, you will NEVER hear from them again period. Leave all the messages you want or call repeatedly. These folks work for the most vulnerable people in our society. They are failing miserably. I don't see how they could do less. 2 months I've been waiting for a call back on some seriously important issues. I've only left two messages since then and have had no success with speaking with customer service agents. I've only spoken to 3 agents in this two months. This is out of dozens of calls where I was left on hold for up to an hour and then hung up on. I'm saddened by the callous ineptitude. I'm not saying they don't care, but their actions say it for me.

They act like they are better then everybody and they completely have no idea how to deal with people that have disabled and it's exposes too be customers service worker. No Respect for anyone calling there !!!!!!?

It was a good experience. the line was maybe five people but they move very fast. the security guard is very friendly and not a long wait. you must wear your mask and there’s parking. the waiting is not long

I could not have been happier with everyone I encountered. Yes, they are still following Covid protocols and it seems as though some reviewers took like a personal attack, which is a shame. All 3 of the folks I encountered, from the security guard to the two representatives, where not only professional, they went above and beyond my expectations. They even took care of a few things I was not even in there for.

To get my husband social security money
If you'd like it expedited you need the following: Paperwork already finished Your marriage/divorce/bloodwork paperwork/proof ALL NOTORIZED EXACTLY 23.76$ THEY WILL NOT MAKE CHANGE. Ask security guard (Officer Martinez) for the code orange line.
Yes I need a appointment I have not received my social security check for 2 months
I am trying to submit a W-4V form. I was on hold for 1 hr ad 15 Minuntes. Can I do this online?
Send a NOTORIZED letter asking very nicely
Better to have an appointment otherwise you could be there for more than an hour
Fill out the form
No you aren't required to check in to the local SS office. But you will need to contact your SS worker to submit change of address.
Anytime I've had to get a card, it comes at least within that week
Doubled.
If you aren't going to make an appointment you need to.try to be there as soon as the doors open.
It's challenging to get anyone by phone so I have gone to the SSI admin bdg to wait in line but eventually seen by a human being. Good luck 😃
You can retire whenever you want but you have to be 62 to start claiming social security benefits.
You should call and set one up. I got very lucky when I went and was able to get in without one but I was lucky and caught them at a very slow time.
Not taking apts walk in
At your bank
More than likely not, but you could walk in. They're usually not too busy at this time, so you could be seen relatively quickly.
I would try calling them.
I usually show up in the am when they open at 9 and don't have a very long wait. Usually 15 minutes
Go back and tell the security guard
The St. Augustine office is accepting walk-ins at this time, but it's always best to try to take care of your things online. If you still need to go into an office, call your local SSA and they'll be able to schedule an appointment for you. It's possible they can help you over the phone, but make sure to ask what documents you need to bring if you are planning to go into an office.
No
My wife went to ss office in st aug w/o an appt saw someone in about 30min.
Yes but be prepared to wait
Oh they're too old to use faxes machines.
Just to leave a note out there that the office is closed and in order to complete any type of Petition it has to be done by appointment or online
Call medicare
The office is not open at all. Everything must be done by mail. There is a number on the front door to call and get information but that's it. They no longer issue temporary replacement social security cards and ordering a hard copy replacement is a total pain in the butt. You'll have to obtain copies if your medical records and send them in or send in your actual driver's licence (yes, they want you to mail them your license!) In order to be issued a new card.
No by phone call only
The 5th friday of February from 1153-1159AM
I don't have one.
They have a website with answers for questions like this
You can't
Need to make changes
Call the toll-free number and make an appointment or go online to socialsecurity.gov
So what's your question?
Yes
Call the postmaster general
Call them
Her health insurance card or birth certificate
My son just passed away. I was informed that I needed to call.
I'm sure you can but I have never tried. But if you look up the days and hours they are open it shows a graph of the data hours where they're the slowest and busiest. My advice in 2 yrs been there at least 5 times the longest I ever waited was a halk hour. If you show up when opening 15 to 20
U have to go there and file for it
Medicare yes, but I believe Medicaidis a state run program, not a federal program.
The Donald.
No ya can just submit a change of address online.
Need an appointment to apply for disability
It's done online now
Do I need and appointment to get a social security card and do I need to come in the office
