Such a beautiful bookstore. I went there today for the first time in about two years due to me living in Cincinnati now, unfortunately they were closed. You bet I'll be coming in tomorrow though. Always loved this gem of a place for amazing reads. Five stars everyday!

The handmade tall wood bookshelves, the inviting outside detailed artwork, comfortable reading areas, and a wide selection of books in a surprisingly large store. The house cats make you feel right at home. This is a one of a kind, very special book store!

I’m a big bookstore aficionado, whenever I visit a new city I try to go to as many used/independent bookstores as I can and I can truly say Iliad is one of the best i’ve been to. It’s the perfect bookstore to me, vast, amazing selection, …

Great place to spend a couple of hours exploring. Great prices, was able to buy 10 books: hardcovers, reference texts, and more, for less than 50 dollars. Very cozy atmosphere and there's 2 cats walking around checking up on things. Good amount of parking in back and there's some free books out front in boxes.

Yes, there is, and thanks for asking! We have a bike rack in the parking lot behind the store.
The books are available for you to view and physically interact with before buying. Everything is laid out just like you would expect at a library. This really is a great hidden gem of a book store. The only books that are not available to preview are the special editions (i.e. signed, first editions, or rare books). You have to ask for those at the counter, but the staff are very friendly.
Not sure, but their theology section is quite large.
Hi Gwil - First off, thank you for the donations! We don't actually carry VHS tapes, but you're welcome to leave them in our giveaway boxes outside, where they'll find good homes. - Lisa at Iliad
You would do better to call the bookstore to ask that question. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable of their inventory.
Hi Gary: Since we're a used bookstore, we don't get many Sudoku books that haven't been filled in. We have one right now - a large one for $3.95.You can always call us at 818-509-2665 to check, and we can hold anything for you for a week. Thanks for asking.
Hello - thank you for asking! If you review the front page of our website, you'll see our Covid practices outlined. We do strictly enforce mask-wearing, will (if necessary) remind customers to practice social distancing, we provide hand sanitizer and gloves, we routinely disinfect surfaces that are frequently touched, and we limit capacity. We are also happy to offer curbside pick-up or mail order. See https://www.iliadbooks.com for more.
It's a used bookstore. No website or catalog that I know of, but you could try calling them. Once you get there it's very organized.
Hi Sher: Thanks for the inquiry, but unfortunately that one's not in our stock. You can always give us a call at 818-509-2665 to check titles.
Not sure what you mean...we are a used bookstore, so we can supply a large number of inexpensive used books, but not multiple copies of a single title.
Thanks for asking, Spencer! Here's all the information on selling your books to us: http://www.iliadbooks.com/selling-your-books/
We like old books, but we are only interested in the subjects of Literature and the Arts. Also they have to be in good condition (not falling apart or missing boards, pages, etc). You probably should bring them in to our main buyer, Dan. He's heading out of town until Tuesday of next week. He works 3pm until 9pm, Tues - Fri. Call ahead to make sure he's available. thanks, ricky Iliad Bookshop
Hi Fatemeh: Thank you for the inquiry, but that's a little too new (published about two months ago) to have shown up used yet. - Lisa at Iliad Bookshop
Go to their website - their email / phone info is there. Contact the bookshop directly.
Depends in the book and the market demand, as well as how the seller behaves.
They do, for store credit or $
