We have lived here for five months. Choosing to move to Camden Crest was the best decision we could have made. The rent is on par with the market, but the overall experience of living here makes it such a great value. It has a wonderful community feel! Everyone from the leasing office to maintenance to our neighbors are just wonderful. The units and grounds are clean and quiet. It’s an apartment, so of course there’s going to be issues, but the way everything is handled makes you feel valued and respected. Camden was recommended to us, and we in turn highly recommended Camden!

Living here going on a year now and so far, I only have a few complaints: 1. This is a non-smoking community, but for some reason the people below me can get away with smoking all the time. I can usually smell it as soon as I get to the stairs, and sometimes it gets into my vents. It's a little frustrating. 2. I had a package that was supposedly delivered to my apartment, per the post office, but it was not. I went to the leasing office to ask about the protocol (if there was one) for stolen packages and they have heavily insisted that it was misdelivered. The way this information was communicated sounded like they intended to follow up with me, but they don't unless I call first to try to get more info. Not only that, but it seems like there's been several "misdelivered" packages lately. 3. The curvy road past the first entrance into the community is an accident waiting to happen with how fast people go around the curves and with how tight a space it is. 4. Trash butler is really inconsistent and the rules are annoying. Very specifically, the rule about putting out trash no earlier than 8pm? I don't know about y'all, but everyone doesn't work a 9-5, so sometimes I'll put trash out when I leave in the morning or afternoon. 5. There's been an email going out every so often about parking etiquette, but there's a bike that's been in the parking lot for months. Other than those things, the community has been very nice. My apartment was newly renovated when I moved in so it's been a dream. I enjoy that it came with a washer and dryer the most. The leasing office staff are really nice, the maintenance staff is nice and the actual residents are generally pretty nice. The prices are a little high, but considering what's, I think it's pretty good, ESPECIALLY for newly renovated units. It's also in a really convenient location, right on the edge of Raleigh and Durham, RDU is VERY close, the mall is about 5-10 minutes down the road. Pretty good place to be!
