We stayed overnight in one of the rooms with a king bed. The bed felt rock hard, like sleeping on a slab. I asked the hotel clerk if they had softer beds in other rooms but was told no, they are all about the same. The pillows were small, though we had 5 of them. They also had no support and went flat immediately when laid on. We ended up buying pillows from Walmart to use. Neither my wife or I slept well at all. The staff was friendly, pool area looked nice. Wanted to enjoy our stay but for over $200 it was not worth it. There are other hotels for $100 a night with hard beds and since we were just staying one night, it boiled down to comfort. Sorry BW

the rooms where absolutely amazing, I have only good things to say about the rooms. however the staff bring it from a five star review down to a three. they knocked on our door not once but twice. they knocked twice early in the morning WHILE our do not disturb sign was up. they need to look at the check out times of guests before going to clean rooms. we where set to leave at 12 and they knocked at about 9 and a bit before 11.

From the time we made our reservation we received such great customer service. This location hosted several sporting teams as well as their families during this super busy weekend in Hays. The rooms were clean and had all needed necessities. My daughter really enjoyed being able to take a dip in the pool as well. The employees at the front desk were very friendly and professional. Thanks for such a great weekend.

Very nice hotel! I’m not sure why anyone would complain about the rooms. Very clean big room that was conveniently located for pets. Yes you have to pay for your pets. It was only $30.00 which to me is a bargain. La Quinta in Glenwood Springs, Colorado charged me a $25.00 pet fee last night and their motto is “pets stay free”. I’d be suspicious of any review written by anonymous guests! Nice hotel and front desk staff was friendly and helpful when I asked for a recommendation for supper. Keep up the good work!
