Google Maps says it has a hot tub. This hotel does not have a hot tub. Also, no carts were available to load luggage and take to the room and when the staff were asked about this, they did not offer to assist luggage transfer from the car to the room. So if you have mobility issues this may not be a good place for you to stay.

It was an extremely busy time to be in Hays, KS and the hotel and its staff were CLEARLY overwhelmed with the number of guests. Overall, it was a decent stay but there were multiple small issues that detracted from the star rating. The good: Check in was quick and our room was clean. Every hotel staff member we interacted with was friendly and tried their best. The breakfast when we went was as expected and again the staff did it's best to keep it stocked. The bad: We had already been told as we checked in that they were a bit short staffed and it showed! One of our beds had a fitted sheet that was too small for it and just would not stay on! We declined any maid service for our duration but a few days into our stay we asked for some clean towels and were told there weren't any. Only 1 elevator was working for most of our stay which would have been fine but the wait for it was awful because the hallways were so so hot!! The ugly: I know it can be a slippery slope when dealing with guests and large parties but there several young children at the pool with no adults in sight! Not to mention wildly running up and down the hallways.

Good experience. My husband has a Hilton app, so he got to check in online and select the room. He always likes room high up away from the highway, and room 401 was good with minimal road noise. The room was a nice size, bed comfortable, large shower, bonus to have a fridge and microwave in the room. The lobby had hot water for my choice of tea flavors. The water was only warm, but a zap in the microwave was perfect. When we stayed breakfast was 6-10. There was a good choice of hot foods, waffle maker, cereal, breads fruits and yogurt. I heard someone say the coffee was out except decaf but didn’t verify.

I highly Recommend Hilton's Hampton Inn in Hays Mo. Excellent place to stay! Our room, very cozy comfortable clean quiet. Great fresh variety of breakfast selections! Thank you so much Regina for such Great kindness and professional service, you are the Best!!! ❤️
