This is a great neighborhood store for day-to-day in&out shopping. I just realized that they don't have fresh seafood, but the frozen shrimp was absolutely fine for the recipe.

I'll never go back to this food lion. The staff has always been rude and half of their produce has always been rotten, I only kept going back up until now because of it's comparatively convenient location to my house. Something new thats horrible about this store - their self checkout apparently glitches. I tried using it because, as always, they only had one check out open and it had a line. I rang up all of my groceries, paid, I heard the card reader buzz, I was in a hurry and knowing I had far more than enough money on the account to cover the bill, I removed my card and assumed it was accepted. I grabbed my bags and left. A moment later one of the cashier's ran out screaming across the parking lot that my card declined. I came back in and paid with another card then received an email receipt from my bank for the first card I tried saying the charge went through. After some back and forth with management they told me the amount should come off the one bank account. It hasn't. I paid for the groceries twice. Now I'll have to go through the headache of disputing a charge on a debit card.

Clean store with a decent selection. It is an older store, so the deli isn't as well stocked with things you might find in a newer store, like sushi. The staff is always helpful, and they go out of their way to assist.

The worst food Lion in midtown. The produce is 2 days past rotten and covered in flies. Items constantly out of stock, lackadaisical staff, frequently there are ZERO check out lines open. Now I'm gonna have the drive past this one to get to the one on Strickland.

Customers mostly wear masks. Employees wear masks. They sanitize carts. Sanitizer and wipes are mostly available. Separators at checkout lines are present.
They deliver your groceries to your car, but you come to pick them up.
