I scheduled this appointment to get a second opinion for my recent back injury. Upon arrival the receptionists at the front desk was kind and courtesy. The intake nurse and the provider were rude and provided horrible care etc: my blood pressure was read wrong several times, belittle me as if I was unable to comprehend there questions, they even prevent my girlfriend from coming back with me but allowed other patients significant other to go back with them. Finally the provider refused to treat me because I couldn't answer her questions. She just walked out. My girlfriend and I are of African American heritage this office aside from the receptionists and one other physician I encountered definitely exhibited a disdain for African American patients. The nurse and Physician need to be held accountable for their actions.
