UPDATE 9/7 ...another neighbor had their car stolen 2 days ago. To my knowledge the apartments still has no plan on doing anything. No cameras, no security guard, not closing the gates at night. I really wish they would do something. But hey we have a nice gym and pool. PUT UP CAMERAS! Please!! Positive. They have been getting more food trucks out here so that is nice. Well in the last 2 weeks we have had over 20 vehicles broke into and yesterday my truck was stolen. Can't get a manager to call me back. They have a couple cameras and claim they don't work. They need to either get more cameras, hire a security guard or both... several neighbors have said they don't feel safe and management doesn't seem to care... but hey at least the keep the pool looking nice. Frustrated Update: he called me. Really nice guy. Unfortunately he said they have no plans for security cameras or security guard. Even though 22 cars got broke in and 1 truck was stolen. And crime around the country is on the rise. Still frustrate.

We have loved the community from the start! Our apartment is perfect and having a park at hands reach is amazing! Overlook as well as Texas has been very welcoming and we could not be happier!

Recently moved in on a Saturday. No one in the office did a walk through of the apartment the day of. When I arrived to the apartment, I notice the floors were dirty. Let’s not get started on the bathrooms. They were disgusting! Hair and dirt was everywhere in the bathtubs, in the sinks, and on the counters. It looked like no one cleaned the apartment since the previous tenants moved out. Then the refrigerator was disgusting, also full of hair and food residue. Then to top it off the toilet seats were wrapped in a pretty grey bow, however when removing the bow once again I noticed the toilet seats were dirty with residue around them. Disgusting ! Why would you wrap a bow around a dirty used toilet seat? Have the decency to change the toilet seats at least before wrapping them in a bow and way before another tenant moves in. That is ridiculous for the price you pay in rent ($2500+). Update: Since moving in imagine waking up to ants 🐜 not once not twice several times. Now imagine vast majority of these are located in your children’s rooms. I have contact the office multiple occasions exterminator and maintenance have came multiple times, have thing’s gotten better? No! There are ants 🐜 in the bathtubs, restroom toilet, closets, and etc… My children can’t enjoy their rooms and my family can’t enjoy the comfort of our home. In the state of Texas Landlords are legally responsible for what is referred to as the “implied warranty of habitability.” This means that landlords are required to maintain a livable home which includes routine pest control. Texas Property Code section 92.056 states: “For a condition that materially affects the physical health or safety of an ordinary tenant, the landlord is required to make repairs or to remedy the condition.” Under Texas property codes, the landlord is responsible for a healthy as well as structurally safe building. This needs to resolve asap in the state of Texas tenants may refuse to pay rent seek reductions or break lease due habitability problems.

Alayna it’s been great! She provided me the best experience I’ve ever had renting an apartment! On the day of my moving I was running late from Austin with all my belongings and a full moving truck, she waited for me and gave me the nicest welcome even on her overtime!
