Brian Center Health & Retirement/Clayton should be investigated. An absolutely terrible place. If your loved ones can't speak up for themselves DO NOT entrust their staff to take care of them.

The staff seemed unenthusiastic about their jobs. When we would ask questions about the care giving it was brief and undetailed. If you don't have the passion to work with elderly or sick ppl there's absolutely no reason for any person to work in that field. There's no one there to help keep patients nails done or hair with the excuse of covid and why ppl don't want to work anymore. It's sad because these ppl deserve just as much care or more.

I was very pleased with the center. The staff were friendly, helpful & professional. The nursing staff were caring & always kept us well informed. The Occupational Therapist, Sheryl was amazing. She always kept us up to date on the evaluations that were done for our loved one. I would highly recommend this facility.

I arrived at the Brian center in June 2019 due to a fall and injury to my leg. All of the staff here are very good at what they do. The therapist are the most caring and wonderful people to work with, and the rest of the staff that helped to take care of me are some of the most kind and caring people I have ever been around. I have had to extend my stay due to my circumstances and I feel truly blessed to have found a place that is taking such good care of me. The food π± is good. There are activities that are fun and interesting. I would definitely recommend considering this facility for anyone needing care or assistance. I will be celebrating my 59th birthday tomorrow 3/31/21 here at the Brian center, so I just wanted to update my review regarding my experience here since I first arrived. All the staff continues to show a level of care and concern for my well being that just continues to warm my heart each and every day. The attention to protocol that was maintained during the whole pandemic period has just been a true wonder to see. The dedication that the staff has shown through a period of time like no other leaves nothing to be desired. The therapy department has continued to check in to make sure that my quality of life is the best that it can be, and they have provided such great assistance throughout every day whenever I require anything with a therapy related issue or just with my normal day to day activities. The kitchen staff is very accommodating when there are foods that I donβt want, and they continue to do a wonderful job serving me with my preferences as we have set up. My room is cleaned every day too. From top to bottom I am very thankful for everyone that helps me here at the Brian center, and again as I did a while back... would recommend to anyone with the need for assistance to check out this place as an option.

There is access to a supply of medication for first dosing at the center that is available while new medication orders are communicated with the off-site pharmacy. Recurring prescriptions are filled by the off-site pharmacy for residents. Consultant pharmacists review each resident's medication list on admission and monthly thereafter to monitor each residentβs individual medication regimen and make recommendations to the physician.
