it really depends on how sick you are. like I took my son there Tuesday night he was in alot of pain.. he was bumped ahead because he was having an Appendicitis. But even after getting back to be seen and having test done to confirm it still took several hours to get into surgery as they were backed up. But we got there about 9:45 pm and he was in Surgery at 3:30am. I will admit some of the staff in the ER are a little rude. but he did have a few who stepped up.. once getting up to surgery and then into a room after the staff is GREAT.

Yes it's normal. I was refused to see a Doctor at Harris County Aldine Clinic because I didn't have insurance and I didn't have $95 to pay for visit. So I can believe they refused to see you. If you not bleeding or on your death bed they will refuse to see you unless you have Insurance or money for your visit.

only if tje tooth has a life threatening infection. if not, I suggest you make an appt with a dentist or dental clinic. There are plenty in Houston that do that for a small fee. Try UT dental clinic in med center on Gannon between MH hospital and Prairie view nursing school. I paid 60$ to have my tooth pulled

Yes, in the general parking lot handicap parking is closest to the entrance. You still must park in the parking lot.

Scheduling with a dermatologist would be cheaper and faster. With the ER, the wait times are ridiculously long and you may wait forever only to be told to follow up with a dermatologist. This is coming from an ER nurse that works there. Good luck! FYI, Harris Health has a pretty good derm clinic
