I brought my used 2017 Malibu hybrid for an oil change and routine maintenance. I had just bought it (less than a month) and wanted to have it serviced by a dealer since it still had some warranty. When they were checking the car they said the car was missing a lug nut on each tire and one of the tire stud was missing.( That was an added $360 to the $79.95 + tax for the oil change) I refused the extra charge and only paid for the oil change. Left without my missing lug nuts which I later purchased at AutoZone ($6.95 for all 4). I call the dealer that sold me the car and he send me pictures from the car when I purchased it and nothing was missing. Now is were it gets interesting, some time after the oil change the car started to shake everytime I was idling and check engine lit up. I called the dealership and they scheduled me for the next day(Friday). I showed up and they told me I had to leave the car over the weekend for diagnosis($180 to check). I was not happy to say the least since I make my living doing deliveries (Doordash, UberEATS). So finally someone decided to check under the hood and found the motor cap had not been put back on. That what was causing all the malfunction. They cleaned the splashed oil, cleared the check engine light and apologized. They offered next scheduled service for free but I will pass. I don't trust them.
