How does a government agency get to close during the week? You have a responsibility to be open for citizens. We pay taxes so the tax office can stay open. Idiocracy.

The place is very crowded and busy, and the waiting time is very long. The good thing is that the workers are very kind and helpful! My main issue is the "appointment" system. I made a reservation and arrived in time for the appointment/reservation. But, I experienced almost an hour waiting, which seemed not much different from those for walk-ins without appointments. I wish anyone can explain this ... What's the use of the appointment system?

Went smoothly eneugh when they were actually open.

Adriana did wonderful with my visit today at the office. To begin with she is bilingual which is a huge asset secondly she was so kind and patient with a smile and she really helped out each and every person and not just blow them off like everyone else does. There was a older man that really had trouble understanding and she literally stood there and kept guiding him through and repeating over and over til he got it that was so KIND and PATIENT of her what a good heart and asset to this office. This young lady deserves a raise!

Yes you can
Yes.
I sent my application in beginning of October. I have received no reply. I called office and was told they didnt have it. I was also told I should have sent copy of my license. There is no place on application that states that. Im 84 years old recently moved from MA I have a parking permit from MA which will expire. Asked office's advise and was told to start over. Really?
I was only there for copy of birth certificate. No line for that. Long line for car tags. Not sure about appointments. Sorry!
Showed up on a Wednesday. No sigh up and but hours read M-F ,8-4. Somone at another counter told me they were closed on Wednesdays. Like I was supposed to know.
I'm not sure sorry
You have to make an appointment and if you can buy photos for the passport
I don't believe you can go to another county.
No
If you live in Denton County, this local office (Carrollton TX) can help you. Open until 4:30 M-F
Debit card is accepted here for a small fee.
I paid with one... So yes they do
Not sure, You may want to call and ask but I don't believe so.
Yes, just be sure you have all your documents filled out properly and signed in all the correct places. The 130U, title app and the title its self all will need to be correct or your trip will be a failure. Good luck. Be sure you bring your vehicle inspection report, Texas State Inspection too.
I went to Motor Vehicles Department to title a car. DO NOT take Megan/Meagan at her word she is not willing to help with your request. SHE will find reason to turn you away.
About what dear?
No, I have been there 3 times in past 3 weeks and after lunch only had 2 to 3 people in front of me
Yes. Denton location is open 8:30-4. They limit the number of people inside so go early.
Yes; also online.
There is a tax estimator on the website. Everything else will be business as usual regarding transfer/registration etc. Gonna need an inspection as well
yes. 1029 w rosemeade pkwy, Carrollton
Calling them would probably be the best option, or if you go up there and get a ticket itll have a list of things you need. Every county is different
Yes they do, with an extra charge of $2.50 I think ..not sure
yes
In theory you should be able to but expect to make 4-5 trips here to do it. Every time they will find some nitpicky reason to say they can't do it.
Yes, you can get a passport there.
I don't know you'd have to call them they'll let u know they're really nice people that work there
Yes you can
Yes and no. If the bank didn't send you a title, you'll need to get a Certified Copy of your title with your lien release from the regional service center at 1925 E Beltline Rd. After that, if you want the lien removed from the database, you'd have to go to your County tax office. If you live in Denton County, then yes, you can go to this location.
No. 1925 E Belt Line Rd.
Ive only ever been asked for the insurance and the inspection should already be registered in thr system. I dont think ive ever given my ID to get a sticker.
Yes. Whenever it is time to get them replaced. If you want to do it sooner it costs some.
I've never been charged for plates. You get charged for the registration sticker and the plates should come free whether they are first time ones or time to update them. If you aren't getting a registration I have no idea. But registration runs about 70 dollars. They just raised the price but that's pretty close.
You can order one but it takes a long time. There is an office in Farmers Branch, or far south Carrollton on Belt Line Rd. that I either got a copy of one immediately or very quickly. Can't remember the name of it but if you ask them at the center there on Rosemeade I'm sure they can tell you.
Register what? Do you mean your car registration? You should have gotten the reminder invoice in the mail for that with the price on it. But if not, the registration fee is now close to 70 dollars I believe. It went up again last year.
