Interview was very positive and sounds to be a good company to work for.

Great trucks & equipment. Needs a little education on how to take care of the hands when we are out of town. Not all people know how to operate computers or order food from devices. It has always been the contractors responsibility to take care of feeding the hands. Not all people can survive off one meal a day. There actually is a thing called diabetes, allow me to explain. Some types of patients have to have approximately an hour notice before they go eat so as to give themselves a shot. Now the other type has to eat regularly if not they subject them selves to fainting blackouts & pretty much a short & brief disorientation. If I owned a company & which I do, when we go to work I buy the hands food as well as pay more than a prevailing wage. And yes the said hand has just left their house. We are out of pocket all the way around, I've never had to depend on someone else for transportation to food while on storm, it has always been the contractors responsibility. Stop selling ourselves short. These contractors are taken care of by their politicians because of their financial status. Perdiem isn't our friend it's the contractors control over us. Feed me or loose.

The guys who have been working on gas throughout west Philly along Cedar Avenue are nice, but the work has been an absolute disaster. My block used to have very few infrastructure issues, if was freshly paved when I moved in 3 years ago. Now it's a muddy mess with genuine stability concerns for parked cars. There are two huge, muddy, unstable trenches of asphalt running along the edges of the street. Parked cars have sunken in as much as 6-8 inches during wet months. Their main response to this continued disruption of parking has been to add cones rather than redo the work and instead focus on adding the same unstable asphalt over the top of gas line "improvements" on the sidewalks in front of every house. On other blocks, it took just a few days for that asphalt to sink into the ground by a matter of inches, creating a massive issue for wheelchair users and other folks with mobility issues. I get that this work is necessary, and I welcome infrastructure improvement but the quality has been absolutely horrible. Considering the amount I've paid for gas so far this winter, my frustration is doubled.
