Had someone come out to look at a minor issue with my roof. They promised to follow-up that day. Over a week later I hadn’t heard back so I followed up. Then they sent me a bunch of photographs of my roof with zero explanation what any of it meant and a docusign to replace my roof. Waste of time. (They left a comment that I reviewed the wrong company - this is false. Their company name and website are attached in the email I got. Apparently the commenter doesn’t know what goes on at their company)

Such an amazing experience from the start. This was my first time as a homeowner having to submit a claim through insurance due to severe hail damage to my home. I was nervous and had no idea what to expect. From the first initial meeting with Peak, Marcus put me at ease and I knew I was in good hands. He dealt with my insurance company and managed the construction process all the way through completion. If you are looking for a company who provides exceptional service, honesty, integrity, and professionalism then you will find it with Marcus and Peak Construction and Roofing!!!

Jared came out to our house to fix a leak around our sky lights - so kind and knowledgable. Immediately trusted him with our repair, done quick and professional. He took tons of pictures to show us the work was completed and identified future problem areas to watch out for. Would 100% highly recommend.

We do patio extensions and concrete work , but we do not do designs.
We never charge to give you an estimate on a painting projects. As a commercial painter, the estimate process is not just about pricing, it’s about getting to know you and your home or business. Once you meet with us you will understand how important honesty and professionalism are to Peak Roofing & Construction. It’s that’s experience that will give you the confidence you need to trust us with your house exterior or business exterior.
Some painting contractors only use one type of paint. But we love offering our customers options. For exterior painting, we use professional quality paints from Sherwin Williams and PPG. However, if you prefer another brand that we can source locally, we are happy to discuss it with you.
In an ideal world, everyone who is going to be part of the exterior paint decision-making process should be present when meeting with painting companies. This helps to get everyone’s input and get all your questions answered upfront. However, we realize in today’s world this isn’t always possible, so the best plan is to talk through the project together beforehand including: Deciding what color and finish you want in what areas. For instance, do you you’re your gutters to match or contrast? What is your budget? What is your timeframe? Are there things you did not like the last time you painted? Things you wish had been done differently?
Peak Roofing & Construction guarantees the craftsmanship on the #1 grade fences we install for five years.
In Texas, you can expect a wood fence to hold its own for about 10-15 years. Now, it won’t always look as pristine as the day you had it installed but it will be functional. Just like most natural substances, if you are attentive and give it some love and fresh staining along the way, it will serve you well. Ongoing maintenance is especially important based on the extreme heat in Texas. One last caveat is we do get our share of torrential winds and hail, so nothing will protect a fence from an Act of God.
Yes, we install replacement windows year-round. Most installations will take only one day. Our professional installers are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The savings you get from your new energy-efficient windows will offset any short-term loss many times over.
If cost is not a factor, sure! But many homeowners will want to balance their window replacement project with the budget and consider replacing in stages. Even if you’re going for a close match, new windows will likely look a little different. So, replacing “here and there” may look bad. One strategy is to replace all the windows on one side of the home to keep a consistent appearance.
Severe window damage is going to be obvious based on large cracks or shattered glass. But there is frequently more damage that is not apparent until you take a closer look. The damage can come from hail, high winds or flying debris.Ideally, you should wait until the sun is out. Look for cracks and holes, broken panes and damaged frames. Even if there are just dents to the frame, you will want to make sure the insurance company acknowledges them and, hopefully, agrees to replace them or cover window repair at a minimum. It is very common in Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston to have window damage as a result of spring storms.
That depends how much the extra convenience of less maintenance is worth to you. Gutter hangers, guards, and screens reduce maintenance and repair concerns, but they also increase the cost of an installation. If you don’t mind getting the ladder out and doing inspections and cleaning occasionally (or can get a younger, fitter family member to do it), you can save some dough. But for many “fix it and forget it” folks, the greater initial cost is the way to go.
We strongly recommend seamless gutters. They’re custom made for your home or business from single strips of aluminum. This is a big improvement over gutter sections that are fastened together as they are installed. The most common place gutters leak or break after years of wear is at the joints and seams. Aluminum gutters are also lightweight, won’t rust, and are durable. Unlike cheap vinyl, they are very weather-resistant and hold paint well. Of course, there are other gutter materials available. Galvanized steel rain gutters are popular because they don’t bend as easily as aluminum when they encounter enemies like ladders and falling branches. The main drawback of galvanized steel is that rust will eventually take its toll, so they need more maintenance. Stainless steel removes the rust factor and is one of the strongest materials in the industry, but they’re pricey. Copper gutters are among the most beautiful on the market, and like stainless steel are virtually indestructible, but
Gutters that are undersized for the roof slope or the type of roofing material on a home or business are not effective. Getting the correct size installed, typically either a 5” or 6” gutter, will effectively manage water runoff during most storms. If gutters have separated from the building or they are leaking, they may need to be replaced although, if caught early, a simple repair may do the trick. Improperly installed or failing gutters are a common cause of excessive water sitting at the base of foundations. Stagnant water can also be a breeding source for unwanted mosquitos. If you are doing an exterior facelift or repainting your home, it may be a good time to replace your gutters, especially if you already have other concerns, such as gutter size or material. Note: Gutters also can be repainted, so you should consider both options.
As you probably know, there are several types of roofing materials, so the typical lifespan varies. Keep in mind, climate and weather conditions are big variables, as is the quality of the installation. That said, here are some estimates from the National Association of Home Builders: Asphalt shingle/composition roofs – about 20 years Fiber cement shingles – about 25 years Wood shake roofs – about 30 years Slate, copper, and tile – 50 years or more
Signs of water damage from a leaking roof include cracked paint, discolored plasterboard, peeling wallpaper and an unexplained mildew smell that worsens after a rainstorm.
There are several clues to help identify possible roof damage. If your area has experienced recent heavy winds or a hail storm; You see leaking or water damage on the inside of your home or business; Your gutters appear to be damaged as if they’ve been hit with a hammer; There are shingles or roofing materials around the perimeter of your property; All your neighbors seem to be getting new roofs If any of these exist at your home or commercial business, call a roofing company immediately. They can assess the condition of your roof and provide a recommendation on whether the damage is extensive enough to warrant an insurance claim.
