The speed and response to my HW heater rupture was quick, professional and complete in less than a day.

We needed someone over a holiday weekend and Mike came out and dealt with our plumbing issue. He did a great job.

They were very responsive and sent some plumbers out right away to my property to give me an estimate, but their prices were way too high, esp. for what should have been routine residential work.

OMG!! When I say amazing, fast, professional, knowledgeable…. I’m saying Schrader plumbing!! Joe and Allen were great! They missed my call over the weekend and called me back today, Monday morning at 7:00 AM. They scheduled me for TODAY!! They came on time and fixed the problem in less than an hour. They showed me what the problem was (God bless grandchildren) and other things that I may need to consider later on down line. I am very pleased with their performance and customer service! Did I mention they didn’t rip my pockets a new one.

Yes, we do!! When the gas company or city shuts your gas off, you are going to have to hire a plumbing company that is licensed in the city you live in, and they will have to have a master plumber that can pull a permit. Once the permit is pulled, we would come out, do a gas pressure test on your line(s), and locate the leak(s). Once we locate the leak(s), we give you an estimate on the repair. Once we complete the repair, we call it in for inspection, which is the next day, except in rare occasions in cities that allow you to pay a large fee for same day. Once it’s approved, the gas company comes out and turns the gas back on. It’s generally a minimum of a 3 day process anywhere you go.
Hello, the short answer is you probably have a leak somewhere that you cannot see. In a case like this, it's hard to tell right away WHERE the leak is, but you can confirm that there is a leak by going to the water meter after you have turned off all water in the house, including the hose bibs, etc. If you see it spinning even though all the water is turned off, then indeed you have a leak. If you are not seeing it, then it's probably not in a wall, or above slab, as it would present itself pretty quickly. At this point, we would isolate the sprinkler line, by shutting it off at the double check valve, and if the leak continues, it's on the potable fresh water line going into the home, and not on the sprinkler system. At this point, we would run out equipment to locate the leak under the slab. This is really something that usually requires someone with a good amount of experience in, which we have at Schrader Plumbing. Feel free to call for an appointment.
Hello, thank you for reaching out to Schrader Plumbing! We do indeed have some great tips and information about preparing for the holidays, and freezing weather. The holidays are a time when we have family and friends over, and the sewer and drains get a real workout. If they are not ready for it, you could end up with a flooding house while your guests are there, and no one likes that kind of surprise. We have written a great post about this very subject at our website, https://schraderplumbing.com/how-to-winterize-your-plumbing. It's important that all your pipes are insulated with thick wall insulation, and any exposed plumbing is protected. For more info, call 817-262-0989. Thanks again!
A sewer camera is a video device that runs into your sewer line, and allows us to see the condition of your sewer line, without having to dig it up. The cameras also have locators on them, so if we find a broken pipe, we can locate it, and fix it easily.
Yes we do. We have maybe different financing options. For instance we offer one that is 18 months with 0% interest.
Call a plumber to come out and do a hydrostatic test to verify whether you do or not. If it is coming into your home then turn the water off to the house outside, or call the city to turn it off if you do not know how. If it is not coming into your home and you have a plumber coming quickly you can leave it on so that they can locate it easier especially if it’s hot.
