I have had a couple of interactions with Central Hardwoods and every one of them has been a delight. They are one of the most affordable sources of Baltic Birch in the area which has been a major product for my project. The staff is very friendly and prompt with their service. Central Hardwoods is a little out of the way for me, but the product offerings and service are the reason why I make the trek over there.

Central Hardwoods is the place to go for any professional cabinet maker, trim carpenter, woodworker or hobbiest searching for that perfect raw board or species of wood. They give you friendly professional service and assistance in determining the best answer for your wood application. The warehouse is neat as pin, and clean enough to have dinner.

Please have card present, often we check drivers license against cards.
They are open to the public, as well a contractor.
They have more species of wood available than most lumber yards, and seem to accommodate in length as much as possible, but you may have to buy a longer board and then cut to length.
No exterior grade, this is interior grade plywood and lumber, hardware.
