Service personnel unwelcoming. Felt like I was intruding on something. Made an online appointment but it was never followed up with a confirmation (text or email). Disorganized operation. If my front end experience is disorganized, I can only imagine what's happening within the operations that I can't see. My first time there and I won't be returning.

Epic customer service!!! Joey Cortez has epic customer skills, treats customers with respect, and he’s definitely an asset to Bakersfield Hyundai. I couldn’t have asked for more. Every time I take my 2017 Sonata to be serviced I get nothing but epic quality customer service from everyone. Thank you :) Update to my most recent visit on 7/26/21, I took my 2017 Hyundai Sonata, and Gabriel Garcia gave us epic customer service, and the technician who worked on my car did an amazing job. I’m very happy being a proud owner of a Hyundai because I know that I always will be in good hands having trusted mechanics working on my car, not to mention that Hyundai is an epic brand. Thank you :) I took my car to get the required 60,000 mile transmission service, and as usual I always get epic service from everyone here at Bakersfield Hyundai. The technician who worked on my car did an epic job. Adrienne Zepeda who was my advisor this time around did an epic job as well. Thank you for your epic service! Took my 2022 Kona to be serviced on 9/28/22, and as usual I always get exceptional customer service and the service advisors are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. David Clarke is always helpful and makes you feel like you matter and is very helpful and understanding.

Will not be back. The service department has horrible communication. Gilbert was the one helping me. I had an appointment, was on time and waited a lengthy time. By time an hour passes I should have been updated with the progress. If I knew it was going to take more than an hour I would have gone somewhere else or scheduled a different day. Also Gilbert stated they were busy, there were max 5 people including myself in the lobby. Then he states only 3 people are working on cars, why would you book “so many appts” if your understaffed. Gilbert didn’t admit to any fault on his part. Communication is key, expectations were not clear. I have gone to another Hyundai dealership before and they are on top of everything so therefore I had set expectations. This is a no for me on this location. Also Destiny at the front desk needs work on how to assist customers, she kept passing me to a voicemail 3 different times I called. No service manager was available to speak to. All I’m saying is be prepared to wait. Oil changes shouldn’t take more than an hour especially if they aren’t busy.

Is the car from a dealer? Because if you already have one from the dealer with interest it can be refinanced and with a credit of 558 it is probably possible if you get a car of around 12 -15 thousand dollars but maybe you will have to take someone to cosign with you and if you want alone then it goes from 1,500 to 2,500 cash down
