Great venue space. Plenty of room for vendors. Bar both inside and outside the ballroom, and clean restrooms. The ballroom was huge and decorated great. We were there for an event, but I could see it being a great party or wedding venue!

If I could give more than 5 stars to The Ballroom at Bayou Place I would, everything was perfect! We had both our ceremony and reception at this venue and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. From start to finish everything went off without a hitch. If you want to have great food, great service, great decor, and an amazing wedding do yourself a favor and book The Ballroom at Bayou Place, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you so much to Craig and his team for taking great care of us and our friends and family!

Thanks Mark for your response but you are incorrect. The parking garage is located directly below Bayou Place and has 3 levels with thousands of spaces.
I am very sorry that when you came here experience was not five stars. We are in the city of Houston on the building which used to be the convention center of Houston and the elevator belongs to the city of Houston. We do have our own elevator as well as three wheelchairs to help people come around the other side of the building and we do help them come upstairs when the elevator has had problems. All of these problems stemmed from hurricane Harvey and I do not believe that The Ballroom At Bayou Place should be held responsible for receiving these bad reviews over an elevator that we don’t control. Next time you were at our venue please ask the valet parking or call mePersonally at 713-400-1299 and asked me to come downstairs and I will have you escorted up in a wheelchair or walked to our private elevator which is used for vendors and service items. We hope you will change your review now that you understand that the elevator had issues last year from hurricane Harvey and come back.
If you are coming to an event at The Ballroom at Bayou Place then the valet is $12. Other establishments at Bayou Place are different valet prices. Valet closes when call cars have been picked up and as long as our events is going on.

A lot! The place is huge. According to their website: "How many guests can The Ballroom at Bayou Place accommodate? With more than 15,000 square feet of contiguous space the venue offers a variety of capacity options for both intimate and large-scale events. We can hold seated receptions with a small stage and dance floor for 700 guests or a cocktail reception for 1000+ guests. We are able to also customize the rental area more intimate events by renting out a particular area versus the entire venue, such as the Smith Ballroom, Texas Ballroom, or our expansive balconies."
