Nurses, Physical therapy, patient advocates were very good. The problem with Arroyo Grande Hospital is ventilation, air conditioning (which was not working on extremely hot day's), no fans, it was stifling. Very unhealthy when one is trying to recover/come out of, anesthesia. The biggest problem of all is the inedible food. You would think nutrition would be a key factor in . recovery. Arroyo Grande Hospital food is so bad, the two other patient's in my room and I asked them to take the food away! It was that bad. No flavor, no presentation, just slop on a plate! I've been in other hospitals and the food was good, presentation was appetizing, and the kitchen cared about patient's actually eating the food for nutritional value! Obviously this is not case with Arroyo Grande Hospital. Do better AGH!!

No they are not..
Yes. You can go to any hospital without insurance. You just may receive a bill and or they will attempt to get you insurance.
