My mom moved into Wesley Burlhome in March, 2022. After my husband and I looked at 7 different places, we chose Wesley. It's a smaller community, with about 50-60 max people living there, which we liked and the people working there were personable and present. Martha Miranda was the sales person that showed us around. She took her time and showed us the various room sizes we would be interested in, answered all our questions, and was very accessible to answer any questions when we called. Claire Signs, the Sales Manager was also great to work with as well, when we signed all of the documents, and answered all our questions. The head nurse, Sabrina, is wonderful. She is knowledgeable and coordinated everything medically related with the hospital releasing my mom and transitioning to Wesley, her meds etc. The aides, Nero, Izzy, and all of them, are friendly and even when my mom can be challenging they try and help her out and maintain a good disposition. They help her down to the dining room, help with showering, getting dressed and make sure she gets her meds each day. It is a large weight off your shoulders when you feel like your parent is in a safe place. When she fell again, a couple of weeks ago, this time when she was at Wesley. They immediately called to let me know and that they had called an ambulance. They are communicative and I feel like I can reach out at any time. Being that I live in California, and not in Pennsylvania, knowing that the people that work there - across the board-are responsive, is so important. Even the OT, Jen and her PT husband communicate with how my mom is doing and provide updates. There's also a nice outdoor sitting area with a gazebo that is nice. And, they check everybody in and out, which is great for security and safety. My mom has her own room, a full bathroom with a walk in shower and a kitchenette. She has windows that go the length of one wall, so she has plenty of sunlight. Overall, we are glad we chose Wesley, Burlhome. The staff is stellar.

Hi, my name is Gloria. My mom, Joan, is a resident of Wesley Burholme. I am very pleased knowing that my mother is safe at Wesley. She gets her medications on time, and she has her lunches in the dining hall which she tells me she likes going to. The nurses are there to give her help when she needs it. Mom gets to see a doctor once a month and a podiatrist, also. She enjoys the activities such as trivia and whatever else they have that day. Our initial experience of the Wesley community was with Jennifer Anderson who helped us so much getting mom into Wesley Burholme during the COVID-19 epidemic. Her help was very much appreciated. Bottom line: Wesley is a safe, caring facility for seniors which I very much recommend!

I have moved my mother in Wesley Enhanced Living in February, 2019. It was the best decision I have made for her. She is more active and participates in many of the activities. The staff is very friendly and caring.

Joan is my 93 year old mother and I'm the oldest of her eight children. She began her stay at Wesley in Burholme, on March 1st, after leaving her home of 70 years. All eight children were raised in the house, so you must know that she was very hesitant about this move. We all wondered if we had made the right choice, but I have to say, that all of us feel that we couldn't of made a better choice. The first thing that is noticeable is how pleasant the staff is.They can not do enough for my Mother. The building is very clean and always smells fresh. Jennifer Anderson, the Manager and Karen her assistant, were very helpful with all the details of making a change of this magnitude. Jennifer actually came over my Mothers house to meet with her and answered any questions she had, which eased her mind. My family is very happy with Wesley, it has everything she needs. Ed White

Its unbelievable that getting info on cost is so difficult for every assisted living facility, they should post it, why not do that? It just waists everyone's time. Crazy.
Thank you for your interest in Wesley Enhanced Living. Prices are determined by factors including the level of care needed, as well as the size of the apartment.
