The school feels good when you are going through your first couple classes, but for what you are paying here, you expect the teachers to go further in what they are teaching, also before I came to school I was told that it would be 70% hands on, 30% book work, now that I’m in school for 5 months I’d say that is backwards, they mostly want you to learn to do stuff from reading the book on your own time, the teachers could definitely go into showing you a lot more then they actually do, in the end they want you to learn all of the actual diagnosing from a book and they miss a lot of information when teaching diagnosing, for example in my brakes class I was never taught to work with brake lines(which I feel like is a pretty big part of brakes), never taught to use an on-car brake lathe, in brakes class there really isn’t a lot to learn so within 30 days I’d say we should’ve been taught everything possible, in engines class the engines we were working on didn’t even have all the pieces to put it back together correctly. I feel like the price for this school isn’t backed up by the information given to the students sadly, and they ask for students to give reviews the 1st class because that’s when the information is giving out the best. And for being a school, when some things break they take a while to get repaired. The school isn’t terrible but it’s very misleading from what they show you at first, the couple things they do good at is being lenient with due dates on homework, helping students work on their own cars and giving general tips for being a technician. Obviously they can’t cover everything in a month but there is a lot of days where you just sit there doing nothing in class, and I’m sure a lot of students feel the same way I do. The teachers like to show a lot of parts on a computer screen or a book compared to showing the piece in an actual car because it’s not easy to get to, but in a tech school we should be doing the difficult tasks to learn more. Some teachers clearly care a lot more than others. When starting school they said classes will go from 8am-2pm but in reality teachers generally start at 8:30-9am and end from around 11am-2pm but generally on the earlier side. When talking to other students a lot of them agree with how I feel. Like I said not a terrible school but so much more effort could be shown by staff

I went there in 2011/12 .. They used to allow it as part of class/project. It was very beneficial for those that needed engine or transmission work however a situation happened and a student ended up “suing” them. Which ended up taking away that right. Therefore no they don’t allow it anymore
Call them
The program is about a year and a month with and optional four months if you want an associate degree
Yes
The entrance requirement is that the student must have a high school diploma. Look into getting a GED. Good luck.
It is an older building with no space to expand. They have been teaching Automotive for over 40 years with no space for other trades.
Depends on what ones you are looking for. But you can call the school and ask them for help and the ladies in the office are great and will direct you to the right place to get your copies
