I made a call about a 10 year old who is stealing consistently in our neighborhoods and who looks dirty but it doesnt seem like they care. So the 10 years old was failed twice, once by her parents, once by the system. I pray no one hurts her before she is able to be guided.

They do not care about the safety or wellbeing of a child the whole staff needs to be let go. The only person there that has empathy for children is the secretary.

Horrible people who are working here

Krista K. and her supervisor Maria A. are 2 of the worst, unkind, unprofessional, ignorant, peasants I've ever had to deal with in my 40 years of living and 21 years of working. Krista K. gave instructions to a "mother" to disobey a court order stating that she had the right to supersede a judge's current order, with no new order from any judge. Five days later when she finally decided to return a phone call, her supervisor Maria A., confirmed the exact opposite. They have no authority to supersede any judges order without a new order. Of course she felt stupid and embarrassed so she verbally attacked the father personally because of their lawsuit sized mistake...basically deflecting their wrongdoing instead of apologizing like a human being. They BOTH have been reported and CYS will be hearing from our civil attorney in the near future. I wonder how many others civil rights, they've trampled over though?

Questions & Answers

Is it is known to be said that the father is can't be involved with the case since works 2 jobs to maintain the household and usually isn't available for the home visits? But does go down monthly to get mouth swabbed? So isn't he already involved?

His already involved. If he wasn't, then he shouldn't be apart of the drug screening. Everybody case is different, so I'm not sure but since he is the father, he should be involved in the case no matter what!!! GoodLuck!!!

Does cys consider school bullying to be abuse ...it's been going on for several years and the school refuses to do anything.

I'm so sorry your child is going through this... have you tried contacting your school's administration? Maybe Google child abuse and school bullying to see what options you might have?
