If I could give this facility a zero star I would. This facility is the definition of nursing neglect and abuse. I have gone back and forth with the so called director, in regards to my grandmothers care and health, and they still take it as a joke. My grandmother has suffered physical and emotional abuse, theft within the facility of her belongings, insurance fraud with purchases made on her behalf by the staff and never seeing the items and constantly placed in unlivable conditions. We have consistent proof of neglect and the director himself refuses to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!! Let's see if this review gets their attention.

I write this almost a year later because im recovering from a leg amputation. My time at fairmont was one of the worst experiences i have ever had. The care takers who were assigned to me were aweful. When i needed to use the restroom. (Bed pan) some times it took more than an hour to get help, also one night while on the bed pain, i waited over an hour for someone to help me off the bed pan, 3 separate occasions when they came to clean me, they left me still dirty. Management did nothing about it, i forced them to discharge me because i was stressing out having lost my leg and then having to deal with nurses who did not do there jobs, the food was always cold, there were some nurses and therapy personnel who were terrific, dont let that fool you, i would never put my family members in that place, EVER! The training needs to be redone cuz nobody listens when you have a problem. Leaving me filthy once was enough. Should have been dealt with, but wasn't, it happened 2 more times after that. A year later and i am still upset about it, if nurses or personnel dont want to do their jobs then REPLACE them with people who do. AWEFUL!

A wonderful attentive group to patient care needs! Anyone who has been in as visitor or patient in a nursing/rehab facility knows how difficult patients can be. The staff's patience is amazing and willingness to listen remarkable. My kid's tell me they are going to put me in nursing home someday. If they do, this is the place where I would want to spend my remaining days.

We had an overall great experience and can’t complain. We transferred our mother in law from another facility to Fairmont and it was the best choice we made. Everyone was attentive and available when we needed something.

Do you transport patients for needed dialysis if they are at your facility for rehab after hospitalization.

Mary Lou Agronomoff | Oct 2, 2019
Fairmont Care | Oct 1, 2021

We will make transportation arrangements for a patient that needs to go out for dialysis. We are actually in the process of opening an on-site dialysis center which would eliminate the need to go out for this service.

Depends on the side, when we walked past the old side it was not nice and 2 or more in a room. The newer construction side is nice.
