They dont care if they completely cut you off from the program and the psychiatrist. Which means you gotta cold turkey your medications. Something psychiatrists advise against. Well not these group of clowns.

Thank you to all! It has been 2 years since being in the PHP program, but I am proud to say that those skills and tools I learned two years ago I still apply every day. Thank you for your kindness and understanding. I am living proof that healing is possible. Thank you!

Stay away. You can NEVER get appointment. They ignore many times my voice message EVEN only the way to get in touch to them to have appointment.

Shortly after learning my husband had Stage 4 Cancer, both my daughter and I began seeing our own therapists there. They help us immensely. The kindness of the staff upon entering is wonderful.

Our staff of 100 specialists works with more than 3,000 clients every year, treating depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), self-injury, schizophrenia, school truancy and a variety of other conditions. The Center for Mental Health is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by Medicare and Medicaid. The Center for Mental Health was the first outpatient center in Illinois to offer a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) outside of a hospital setting. PHP is a comprehensive short-term program that provides support and treatment for adults and older adults who may be experiencing an increase in psychological or emotional distress. Participants learn coping skills and strategies for changing negative thoughts and behaviors. We also provide medication evaluation and monitoring, small therapeutic groups, family counseling and one-on-one sessions.
