We stayed in the spacious barn suite which had everything needed to make our visit comfortable. It was very clean and the grounds pretty and peaceful. Innkeeper Sheryl, treated us each morning with the most delicious breakfasts in a gracious dining room.

The inn is a lovely, convenient place to stay while visiting the NY state Finger Lakes region. The room was clean and comfortable. The innkeeper, Sheryl, was welcoming and helpful. Her breakfasts were beautifully prepared and beyond delicious! The summer garden is a green, pleasant place to have coffee and relax. I appreciate the effort it takes to create and maintain such an atmosphere for all guests.

We booked the entire B&B for a group of family members going to our Nephews wedding. Sheryl, the Innkeeper is a pro- the home is beautiful, warm, welcoming and the rooms are terrific! She has 2 King Size rooms and 3 with queens. Our bed was so comfortable we kept over sleeping! The breakfasts are just delicious and vary each day. If you have dietary restrictions just let her know in advance. The back yard gardens are stunning and have plenty of chairs etc for lounging.

We spent the first of what we expect to be many more long holiday weekends with Cheryl and her great team at the 1795 Acorn Inn over the July Fourth holiday. The Inn is immaculate and Cheryl's care for her guests and the environment is readily apparent. A world traveler and successful business leader with an amazing life story, Cheryl has infused the inn with a lifetime of learning that makes a stay here a remarkable experience. The food is fantastic and the setting is idyllic, with wonderful outdoor garden areas that are a great place to sit back and just decompress. The inn itself is centrally located in the Finger Lakes region at a crossroads that provides easy access to Canandaigua, Naples and other nearby towns. There's so much to see and do in this region and Cheryl is a wealth of knowledge, with many personal connections that make venturing out easy. Well worth a visit!

Yes. We have cable television with Cinemax, Showtime and HBO as well as many cable channels, sports included. Can't find anything on television... each room also has a DVD player and we have a large selection of DVD's.
We have a 14-day cancellation policy; 30 days for all Holidays, Holiday Periods and Special Events. Why? Because we are a small, little Bed and Breakfast. Cancellations effect us greatly. Fourteen days allows us the opportunity to possible rebook your room. If you need to cancel after 14 days, we will open up the room and try to rebook it for you. During the busy season we are often very successful at rebooking rooms. We will refund 80% of what we are able to rebook. There is a $25 cancellation fee charged at the time of booking.
We warmly welcome guests between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. This is time we set aside to assist our guests with restaurant suggestions, maps, things to do in the area and tour the Inn. We also have available the option of a Self-Check after 6:00 pm for those guests that cannot make our regular check in hours. We will provide you with the code for the front door, all of the above and an emergency phone number should you need one. Check out is 11:00 am.
Yes we do. And free parking. Free snacks. Free sodas. Free hot tea. And, we include in each private bath a variety of amenities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, comb, nail file, floss, shower cap, mending kit and more. Additionally, we do supply shampoo, conditioner and bath soap in our showers. If you need anything else, just ask and we will do our best.
That's tough. Our main Inn is not pet friendly. We are animal lovers but unfortunately all our guests are not, mostly due to allergies. We are contemplating opening up our Suite in the Barn to pets. Give us a call as we may soon be able to accommodate you and your pet.
Absolutely! We serve coffee starting at 8:00 am and a full, gourmet breakfast at 9:00. We seat the entire house together and often guests share wonderful conversations. We are very flexible with dietary restrictions and early breakfast requirements if we are made aware at least 48 hours ahead of your stay. We are happy to cater to gluten free, lactose free, vegetarian and other dietary restrictions. Unfortunately what we cannot do it accommodate likes and dislikes. Sorry.
We are located about a ten-minute country drive from downtown Canandaigua and our outdoor amphitheater, CMAC. Always a wonderful evening and great performers. This year, Chris Stapleton, Little Big Town, The Avett Brothers, Sarah McLaughlin, Luke Bryan and more...
We have a guest hot tub located in our gardens. During the busy season, we use a sign up sheet so guests can enjoy the hot tub in total privacy.
All of our five rooms have fireplaces. The Angell and Wilder Rooms have fireplaces that are more for added ambiance. The Hotchkiss Room and Bristol and Barn Suites have heat generating, remote-controlled gas fireplaces.
