Based on the reviews I was hoping for a better experience. Ordered the fish and chips and my daughter ordered the stew. The presentation was non existent and the stew was really awful. Meat had a funky taste and it was nothing but meat chunks and potatoes. Not a carrot or pea to give any color except baby poo brown to the dish. The fish and chips were just OK. The table was sticky and so were the condiments on the table. The entire restaurant looked run down and dirty.

Delicious, well-prepared food. From appetizer to dessert, everything was wonderful. Our waitress was friendly and professional and service was prompt, even though they were quite busy when we got there. Of all the restaurants we tried while in Louisville, the Irish Rover was by far my favorite.

I went there for group meeting. It is also my first time visit since I passed this place so many time. I enjoyed the environment as make me feel like at home. I ordered fish cakes which I enjoyed a lot. Very delicious. Would visit it again to try more.

Came to the Irish ☘️ Rover for Saint Patrick’s Day 2022 ! My boyfriend had “ Fish & Chips “ & I had “ Bubbles & Squeak “ - We both enjoyed! Recommend !

“Ol, ceol, bia agus craic” is Irish for “beer, music, food and fun”
Until the positivity rate in the county improves, we are carryout and outdoor only. All staff are masked at all times, and guests are required to wear masks when in the building and when servers are at their table. We have upgraded all of our HVAC systems with UV lighting and HEPA or MERV 13 filters. Menus. pens, and surfaces are sanitized between guests. Drink refills are in fresh glassware or with pitchers for the table only. Gloves are worn to remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils. And, of course, we always have and continue to follow all best practice hygiene and sanitation procedures, such as using gloves with ready-to-eat foods, handwashing, etc.
Check Facebook page : Handle the Heat, check what she says about that recipe. Sounds like there are a few factors that are particular to that recipe that may have contributed to it going flat. I bake quite often but not made this cake yet..Good luck, sounds delicious!
As having been a restaurant manager, if you're wanting to make a reservation for a larger group of people, any restaurant will make that reservation so they can properly staff the restaurant to handle your needs.
