Awful, absolutely awful. On hold for an interminable period of time, and then a recording comes on saying that the system can’t take my call right now and that I should try my call again later. Tried 4 more times; same thing. Their outgoing message should just say, “We have no intention of helping you; go to Hell”.

This is literally embarrassing and super frustrating! I’ve been trying to reach someone in the traffic department after finding out that my license was suspended a year later! I’ve been driving on a suspended license because I did not show to court? Even though I paid my ticket on time! This is a big load of bs. The best part is nobody likes to answer. They leave me on hold for countless of hours and then randomly and rudely just cut off the line. I can’t get anyone on the phone! I’ve been trying for weeks now. Wth 🤦 Chicago. Get it together. I’m so happy to know that I am leaving Chicago for good soon.

You must call and ask them to attend the next court date via zoom or in person but make sure to ask if its mandatory to in person court.
You can call the traffic ticket line or do the dummy like me and drive down there, pay for parking so you can sit in the lobby and zoom . try to do it a few days before sometimes the information is not in the system yet
You have to go to the basement of the Daley center and get proof it will cost you under $10 to $15 for a print out, then you have to go to the 10th floor to suite 100 and pay a $70 reinstatement fee in which you may not have to pay because your case was dismissed but you have go there so they can do the last step of putting it in the computer system

If the court has not responded to you by postcard call with your ticket number amd they could answer that question for you - all hearing are being conducted by zoom!

Call the clerk of court and give them the ticket number
Not in the courtroom, I mean you could have em but make sure it's on silent and you keep use to a minimum otherwise it will be taken from you. From there, idk when you would get it back.

You can try the phone number for court and talk to the clerk but i think you'd probably have to go down there and file a motion to post pone
