Well, I’ve been going to this pet store to wash my dogs for the past 2 years. Every 2-3 weeks I go in and wash my dogs. I get my card stamped and go about life. Usually a great experience… Well this evening I went in and was chased down by Lori as she needed to advise me that “YOU need to pay before washing your dogs!”. It took me by surprise because well I usually take my anxious dogs to the back wash them and pay on the way out, for the past 2 years. It’s routine. I say “uhmm I’ve never heard of this rule before.” Not that it’s an issue, but the way she approached me about it was an issue. Lori then says “ Well it’s a new rule, some of you people ruined it for everyone.” I said “YOU people, what do you mean by YOU people?” She said it with some force. Lori, decided to approach me as a thief, decided to accuse me and insult me a paying customer of 2 years. It’s disgusting to have an experience like this. We are in 2022 and still have to deal with racism. It’s really disgusting. Do better. As a company you shouldn’t condone behavior like this. There are many different ways your employee could have handled the situation but instead this is how she chose to respond. I have never been so insulted.
