Beautiful museum in the heart of Oldtown. I would advise going on days where the admission costs are either free or to pay what you want… $12 seems a bit steep for three small galleries. I was impressed by two of the three exhibits- it is nice that the galleries regularly rotate so there will be fresh options every so often. The gift shop was cute to boot.

Drinks are not allowed in the exhibitions. If you're carrying a bottle or cup you will be asked to leave it at the front desk.
I would contact them by phone or email and ask these kinds of questions. If its something you are genuinely interested in maybe you can get an interview with somebody there to discuss what the best educational routes would be. Who knows maybe you can do an apprenticeship?
