Other than Houser's music in Oroville this Guitar Center in Chico is awesome I took my kids in there and they got to play every instrument they wanted to touch and the staff they were awesome friendly they even left you alone when you didn't need help I recommend this place to any family or anyone

Always helpful and knowledgeable. The guys there love their job it seems. Just had a guitar rewired and intonated. The guitar is a 500 dollar mij jackson dinky and it now plays better than my 1200 dollar pro rr3

I bought my first guitar (Lyle Hummingbird) from GC in 1974 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Coming to the Chico, CA store brought back memories from almost 45 years ago. This time I was there to buy my wife a Ukulele. Friendly staff, knowledgeable and easy access to all instruments. Now for the kicker... I've lived in this area since 1995 and for the first time, I finally went to the Chico GC. OMG! This might become my new addiction. Yes there are places online that might have better prices, but it doesn't come with local support and humans to actually talk with. Rock on Guitar Center!

They do yes. In fact I had taken my car there and they definitely know what they're doing.
There is a local shop in Oroville. Housers Music, its downtown and open everyday except Sunday. It's very similar to Herried music. Been open forever. I took bass lessons there back in highschool in 2005. The owner is very nice and the prices are reasonable.
Well I would think depending on the price with the guitar they might do it as a thank you gesture to set it up. And the hard shell case there are different companies usually range $100 to $300.
You get 4 half hour lessons in a month for $98. Rock on dude!
For tech questions about your guitar. I would call them and talk with their in house tech. I've talked to them many times myself and they have been very helpful.

I'm pretty sure they offer lessons for just about every instrument they sell. There's also music connection on East and cohasset which is a local store. They would for sure.
