On the way to Las Vegas Nevada from San Jose California. We're past bakerfield. The landscape is very beautiful.

Waited all day and no work. They could make this place a lot better if they were to allow you to leave after signing in and call you when they have work available. Nobody wants to wait 6 hours in a chair for nothing.

Can't be bothered to assist skilled people with job placement

Went for one week straight and they never had anything for me. Did side jobs from Craigslist instead and made more money in 10 minutes than I did wasting my time in this office. TBH it's more like a day shelter than a labor office. After 6 am or so when people come in and draw numbers for the lottery you'll find 95 percent of the people in said "labor" office are in turn "working hard" to fall asleep 😂. I think if they had perhaps more training or put more efforts into finding permanent jobs this place may do better. The thing I will say (it can be both positive and negative) is if you are lucky they may eventually have a job for you and they take anybody regardless of photo ID or criminal background. But on the flip side when hiring people from this agency remember that same thing applies, you don't know who your getting for the job.
