I had over a ears worth of paperwork to shred. I found opportunity village paper pros, on my google search. I signed in and they gave me a lockable trash-bin to take to my car. I loaded it and took it back for weigh-in and then paid $17 for it all. It was an easy process and provides jobs for an excellent group of people.

The staff was helpful in explaining how the process works. Very easy process. Put papers in bin, make sure no binder clips, etc. Staff was very friendly, and even came out to check on me after I had been gone a bit (wanted to make sure I didn't include things I wasn't supposed to). Prices VERY reasonable, and helps a good cause. Would definitely recommend to others.

Its 35 cent a pound to shred
No. It is a secure facility so that no one can see any sensitive information or materials. There are security cameras covering every angle of the shredding facility to make sure that none of the workers are able to remove any documents from the facility or take photographs of any documents. No cell phones are allowed in the shredding area.
