I’ve been to this hospital on a few different occasions and for the most part it was a good experience. I went for a car accident back in December and the doctor who attended to me was extremely kind, attentive, and listened thoroughly to me as I described my feelings. He accurately diagnosed me and was backed up by pain doctors and physical therapists for months after the fact. This last experience however I went in for allergic reaction. Given I should’ve went sooner my rash around my eye had went down a bit after applying some cream, but I felt it would start swelling again soon as my eye began to water again. I figured I’d be in and out to begin with and would have to come back when it flared again, but I have a history of severe allergic reactions with the redness being a first indication. I knew IMMEDIATELY when the doctor entered the room he just seemed dismissive and annoyed with me. He rolled his eyes at me constantly and kept interrupting me as if I was lying and don’t know my own body about how medications affect me. I wasn’t gonna waste my time being combative because I didn’t want someone with his attitude treating me. I believe his name was Dr Romolo or something like that. Outside of his dismissive behavior, the staff every single time is AMAZINGLY kind and they’re the reason I go there, although not my first choice it is the closest to me.

I did not expect to have to call 911 when i got to my mom's house this morning. There is no way to explain in words the amazing loving care my mother is currently receiving at Good Shepherd. She came into the ER and has now been admitted. My brother and I simply couldn't stop talking about how loving, kind, patient and friendly every staff member is. Every single one! They even told cute jokes to keep my mom smiling when she is in so much pain. They have administered every test necessary and have helped my mom to feel as comfortable as possible during the process. I have never seen a more loving, cohesive team in Healthcare. Special thanks the ER and to Laura and Jess is 4 North. You are amazing!!!!

Nurse Ashlee is the main source for making me Go AMA. She lagged at responding to tending at the patients needs and Talked about lagging and low sympathy at her job and why I was there? It seemed slow at her job? Good Shepard is a decent hospital. But with her there? They need to take a look at why she is there & tend to patients needs instead of her own on the job necessaries!
