This was the worse ER visit I’ve ever been to. The Er dr. Apparently sees you in the triage department. She didn’t announce herself so I thought it was the triage tech. They took my blood did an X-ray then finally took me to a room They hooked me up to the monitor then I didn’t see anyone no nurse no one asking how I’m feeling no one told me my results. When the nurse who I never saw came in to discharge me I asked for the charge nurse because I was so confused on how the were operating since no one spoke to me. Mind you I’m still vomiting and no one treated me for any symptoms. They forgot to even print out my X-ray report which is a good thing I asked for the charge nurse. She went over my blood work and X-ray results since there was no Dr. I was never treated for any of my symptoms and if I never asked to see the charge nurse I would be clueless as to what was going on. They left me vomiting with my chest hurting. The PA I saw in the triage was Celina Marie Moretta. She never announced that I was in her care for this er visit. This was a horrible experience and I hope you guys get a better system going so patients aren’t clueless to what is going on.

I would like to send a huge thank you to Marlene, she is a transporter. She was so compassionate, kind and just amazing. I had surgery and I asked her to drive slow, (my wheelchair) which she did. She knew I was in pain and having a hard week. She insisted on buying me a smoothie. I gave her a big hug. She was so warm and friendly. She only cared about me in that moment. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR KINDNESS.

I went to the ER as I couldn't get in to see my primary care doctor for two weeks. I was in the ER waiting room for 6 hours before being given a room (bed) in the ER and another hour and a half before I was admitted to a room in the hospital proper. Once in my room the care was outstanding.

UPDATE: Today I received an email from Banner. They'd like my sister to reach via email. Why??? We did that twice in 2019 and didn't hear from anyone. I believe they're quite possibly responding here just to give the illusion that they are concerned. There are enough legitimate 1 star reviews here to give merit to the administration's need to make changes to the ER triage process. Maybe the nursing crisis means "any warm body in a position". I'd like to think differently, especially having worked at a wonderful downtown Banner facility in the not too distant past. Be wise. Stay safe folks!! I know when healthcare started its nosedive into the absence of compassionate care. It happened when hospitals started outsourcing services, nurses went to 12hr shifts bringing forward lack of continuity. I just didn't realize how bad ER care had consistently become until last week. This is where I would usually explain the way my 76 yr old sister was treated. How sick she was. What idiotic, hospital-enriching tests were ordered BEFORE she was ever evaluated by a physician, or someone playing doctor. What's the point. I thought when they had us wait in the ER waiting area for three hours when she was having a heart attack a few years ago, it was just the incompetence of that triage nurse (the gatekeeper to all care). I found out that a brand new tower doesn't mean better care by the staff. It's just getting beyond triage that seems to be the clearest issue. My sister easily could have died 3 years ago because a triage nurse thought she was God Almighty. She could have died last week because of her severe dehydration from a norovirus. The older you get, the more fragile your cardiac system becomes, the greater your risk of dying from a dehydration that could have been addressed. They were ordering a CT scan on her head before she was seen because they THOUGHT she might have fallen and hit her head. They didn't ask her if she did. She told them she didn't hit her head and didn't need unnecessary exposure to radiation. This is a pricey test because you THINK a patient may have fallen, but it benefits the hospital's coffers, as well as the radiologist reading the unnecessary test. Ask questions. Listen to your patients. Just because we live in Sun City doesn't mean we're stupid. Between the two of us we have 98 years of nursing experience. My sister retired just 5 years ago from managing a department of 100+ healthcare professionals in a large teaching facility. I understand why our pastor said, at a recent church meeting, " I tell my family members never to get their healthcare in Sun City". I was stunned to hear that from our Pastor in such an open meeting. I don't know what provoked that, but heads were nodding in agreement. Banner needs to know their perception in the community goes beyond their patients. Banner has much better facilities right here in the valley. Sadly, not in Sun City. We, as senior adults, deserve care and compassion. STOP treating us like we are disposable commodities, but like adults who deserve a listening ear, an appropriate assessment in a timely manner. But for our generation yours would not exist. Be better. In the meantime, we have other options, even if an ambulance is involved. Once is a fluke. Twice in a row is an apparent need to repair your facility and the people you employ.

Off of Thunderbird. If you're coming from the west, turn right on 105th Avenue. Then immediately turn left, go up the ramp. There's the entrance. Also, you'll see big signs indicating HOSPITAL MAIN ENTRANCE. Follow them.
Main entrance. Go to the elevator, 4th floor, then down the hall, you will see the sign for the tower. Never heard it called west before.
Probably 5:00.
Online at at the Banner Health website, you can search specific locations or job availability throughout the entire Banner system.
11am-8pm
I was in a private room. I didnt request it, it just happened that what was available.so I would say, yes! They have private rooms with fabulous staff
Is it an emergency if you can schedule it?
Every work area or division has a fax number..the employee should know there fax number to there own area that they work at.
You have to go into the main lobby to check in and then they will tell you where to go
Depends who are you trying to call? Main operator or a specific department?
Contact their Risk Management department.
The nurses station can tell you those hours for sure!
The hospital administrator.
Yes, they do echocardiogram's.
Hi Turhan. Banner Health does hire CNA workers.
Several. Check with administration.
Hi Gary, Thank you for the question. Physical Therapy is located on the First Floor to the left of the main entrance. The front desk will be able to assist you. For a site map please see shorturl.at/opsBX
Hello, Thank you for your question. Please visit https://www.bannerhealth.com/patients/patient-resources/visitor-restrictions for all updated information regarding patient visitation.
Unfortunately, the clinic is not a walk in and they do not do same day appointments. However, they can get you in as soon as next day depending on your needs.
Yes, I would immediately
Main lobby and go to elevator to 3N. It will be a J hook to the Left. The East lobby elevators only go up to the 3rd floor with a code.
The Same Day Surgery entrance is in the east entrance off of 103rd Drive.
I like Reshesh Bhakta, if I spelled his name right, across from Boswell on 103rd and Tbird. He has 3 offices as well with Dr Jalal Abbas and Dr Tran in Surprise and Goodyear respectively. Labs are done in all offices and their NPs are really good as well.
At 10401 West Thunderbird. You'll see a ramp going up on the left which is right AFTER you turn right. Take it. Park your vehicle in the garage right near the front door there . The golf cart guys will give you a ride right up to the front door. They often follow cars so that you don't have to wait.
You can volunteer in most emergency rooms but people who want to become nurses have to go to an accredited RN program. Banner works with colleges and programs and takes nursing students. Hope that answers your question
Go to the front desk and ask for security
It's on the south side of Boswell, by the south entrance
There are no specific visiting hours. When my dad was in last month, we visited from 7am until 8 or so in the evening. Some of his roommates had a family member spend the night. If you get there before 6am, you have to go in through the ER department which is sort of a pain.
North entrance.but not sure.
My wife has been through some bad health. I had to be at the hospital alot. I still don't know the hours . I think about 8 pm. But they will bring a chair in that folds down so you can sleep there if you want. They never asked me to leave and never stopped me from coming in . If you are after hours you may have to go in through the emergency room. Because of the hours that I work I sometimes could not get to the hospital till 2 or 3 am. I explained my being there and they would get me to my wife so I never learned the visiting hours. We have been through a few heart attacks a stroke. Broken hip. And the list goes on . The hospital has been great for everything.
You are asking for a medical opinion from Google Maps volunteers with little to no veriferiable medical experience. Ummm .... My non-medical opinion is: HAVE HER CHECKED OUT. HAVE HER CHECKED OUT NOW.
Boswell does not have a nursery. Check with Banner Estrella or Banner Thunderbird.
They do not
Perhaps you can make contact with them.
You may want to address that with their security or write a letter to the CEO who is always interested in hearing how they are doing.
Depends on which unit, medical issues, how many patients in unit, and probably other variables. so .... Maybe, don't count on it.
Fourth floor is divided into A,B,C and D.
Main building, main floor. Front desk will direct you when you go in the main entrance. Also there are clearly posted signs that will lead you to admissions (as well as anywhere else) from the main lobby. I hope that this helps.
Yes! The lady social worker was friendly & mentioned a form for medical power of attorney, which I've always been asked if I have one at Del Webb, but they never offered this choice, which stays on record at all Banner Hospitals in Phoenix. Very helpful & kind.
