My fiancee and I played (okay, I played and she rode along) the Highlands yesterday. The course was in immaculate condition -- all the cart paths were recently redone so they're in a transitional phase, fairways and greens cut nice and short and sand traps in great shape. We saw four deer! The golf shop guy was polite and efficient. And I broke 100, which is my goal these days, including three pars on the back nine.

HERE & THERE

Very nice and never over crowded keeping the pace of play up. The layout on the lowlands course is very well done and excellent for walking. The highlands is full of amazing views and a fun way to spend a afternoon playing golf and driving through the beautiful bluffs of Red Wing.

We played the highlands course. They have a lowlands 18 as well. The views are breathtaking. First picture is on the downhill par 5 was playing about 650, but the downslope helps the tee shot as long as you keep it in play. Second picture …Thanks for playing!!
